The best way is to play something at 144hz, then play the same game at 60hz. It is hard to describe it 144hz is buttery smooth

I have a gaming monitor and it makes my eyes hurt.
This thing is litterally one of those gaint screens you see at airports and upscale fast food places. The clarity is so much better and the colors are pretty.

the delay between an action and seeing the action occur is very minor, but it's noticeable between 60hz versus 144hz. try playing league of legends at high elo with 60hz and you'll be at a disadvantage

Hey OP, I got a shout out for you, just picked up this laptop for a really good deal. Lenovo made a mistake and listed the model with 16GB ram and an 8gb nvidia 2070 for the same price as the model with a 1660ti and 8gb ram. They fixed the pricing 2 days after I bought the better model.
Been playing the resident evil remakes and having a blast.
Best part, I didn’t have to sell link to afford it hahah.
