I though about this a lot when it happened to me as a kid. almost did it too.

One time he told me to clean the bathroom and so I did.. spotless.
Then my brother used the bathroom 15 minutes before my stepdad and left a piece of toilet paper on the floor.

My stepdad flipped out and kicked our (my brother and I) door down and then tried to knee me in the back of the head when I was sleeping. I pushed him into the little table that separated the beds of my brother and I and he left after getting up and went to bed.

One time he left on a meth fueled excursion and my mom put in a restraining order on him... the day of the court hearing, she went and he didn’t show up.. it went into full effect for two years; she took the court order off the next day I shit you not.

One time I got beat so bad with a glass thick candle and a vacuum that I ran out of the house... my mom was talking on the phone in front of the house and so told her to call the cops because I was finally bruising and had evidence and could prove it!!. she said that she‘s think about it and walked away from me towards the garage continuing her conversation.

lots of other incidents.. anyways after the week long meth binge he brought me back a 10/22 ruger when I was a 12 year old (with ammo).

I told him I was going to shoot him and he told me, “not If I kill you first!”
I never shot him and I eventually moved out to a different state.
