this is the most retarded argument for chainlink ive ever heard. 3 years.... is 3 years long at all? Atari had a 10 year head start on Nintendo Nintendo had a 10 year head start on Sony How fucking deluded are stinkers? >muh 3 yearz
is 3 years really that long a time? if someone came up with a better more cost effective oracle solution tomorrow, would people go >oh but chainlink tried really hard for 3 years to build a network :((((( i dont want to wait 3 years again
I loved hotbot. They were the first with EXACT PHRASE search option
Bentley Gutierrez
Except first mover advantage is paramount for inherent security guarantees via the network effect. You are correct user, first mover advantage isn’t really critical with traditional businesses, however, we are not investing in a business, rather a network or protocol. Said network will have underlying security guarantees based on its previously established network effect. Devs understood this, you saw it first hand with ETH and BTC. LINK appears to be next.
3 years is a long time for development of a complex software solution and building of a network, yes.
Mason Howard
>complex software solution you have no idea how basic chainlink's tech is, do you
Oliver Gutierrez
This is something that could be evaluated with a 10-K...you’re missing my point entirely or just shitposting at this point. All you have is the network and it’s underlying security. Said security is influenced by # of participants and quality of said participants. This is called a network effect user
Tyler Cook
I can tell you've never worked in software. Even "basic" things have a lot of kinks to work out.
Kayden Evans
Link buyers immediately become the equivalent of commission based wageslaves, posting about link, thinking about link, agonizing about link 24/7. And you do it below the owners of the project. You are the cattle of the entire link workforce. You are laughed at as the link devs make 6 fig salaries while throwing their “investor” cattle pennies.
But let’s talk numbers. Since let’s say Oct 2017 there have been 928 days since then. The total value of a 10k stack is ~$30k (generous after deducing tax). Assuming only 12 hours a day of link shilling, agonizing, research etc (again, being generous) that is: $30000/(928*12) = $2.70/hr
Yes, you read that right. You have been working for 3 years straight, no vacation no break, for $2.70 an hour. Now seethe.
Dominic Diaz
Let’s think about this logically. Link enthusiasts bought 10k link in 2017. That investment is now worth ~30k. That is 30k over 3 years... less than the salary of a fast food worker.

> be chainlink team > Hype up a pivotal epic > Be steve ellis > Delet pivotal epic > Tiresome or profit? People are still making money from vaporware made by fat russian scammers.
Connor Ortiz
you didn't factor in all the perks, like the funny memes and all the frens we made along the way
>oh no, Chainlink spent 3 years paying people to use their tech. THIS IS COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE TO REPLICATE. Microsoft could never in a million years pay a bunch of people to participate in their network in the 3 year span chainlink did! :O *has computer science paradox in your path* warosu.org/biz/thread/S18145402#p18150522 "heh, nothing personnel kid*
Brody Green
>look at the millions of movies on vhs, nothing will replace it!
i sold link at $3 and have 300 k right now. LOOOOL
Dominic Martin
I’ll check our dubs of wealth fren
Kayden Brooks
If Microsoft or other bigger players could have replicated and surpassed Chainlink, they already would have. Clearly time and money aren't the only variables at play here.
you don't need to larp bro. you can just admit you missed out. it's ok.
Connor Price
Congrats on your gains, good luck trying to fud link back below $3 so you don’t kys if it moons.
Oliver Wilson
So how sad is your life then? Make $300k and have to come back to an anonymous forum to talk shit about the investment that just made you that $300k. Fuck I’m glad my life isn’t that depressing, I’ll pray for you user
Josiah Ortiz
>Im not larping YOURE larping okay
Cameron White
>Microsoft could never in a million years pay a bunch of people to participate in their network in the 3 year span chainlink did! :O They literally can't you retard. This is actually impossible
Grayson King
Fuck I miss it so much.
Jacob Smith
>bragging that boomerstack '1k eoy' is the phrase, fren
>be chainlink >add enormous costs for businesses in promise of delivering decentralized data warosu.org/biz/thread/S16686932#p16688762 >dont be decentralized how could it go wrong???
