Anyone considering banks? Bank of America has a killer dividend and is still at a good discount relative to the pre-coronahoax price.

> bull get to enjoy literally decades of green > bear have to contempt wit ha few weeks NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THE BEARS ARE TRIUMPHANT NOOOOOOOO HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN
My "buy the rumor, sell the news" big play was buying a bunch of MRO in anticipation of Orange Man slapping tariffs on foreign oil. Can't wait to cash out with a cheeky profit.
>inb4 he won't slap tariffs
Do you think America can afford to lose its oil autonomy as it's on the brink of war with China?
Adam Powell
My only question is, buy now or wait for earnings on May 5? They'll probably be eating a big red dick because 99% of their sales are retail, but otoh, mattress demand is pretty much independent of anything else
Hunter Evans
>bears unable to push S&P500 below 2850 >oil already rising in price
He almost certainly slap tariff because it would be admitting that the deal he was so proud of failed, it would be going against the deal as well and although SA went against its spirit, it didn't go against the letter of it (which, by the way, included reduction of US production).

Tesla won’t GAP up tomorrow. Right bros.... I’m scared....
They've started buying June contracts now since they had so much of May they were breaking the rules. I believe 20% is in June. Contango still deadly for USO though. DO NOT BUY USO FOR LONG HOLD NIGGERS
Lucas Roberts
God damn what a horrible roll-over, almost 30% going to lose lots of tendies on contango.
Cameron Perez
what do you think about HAL
Cameron Lee
I have to buy it all in one big purchase because it's an OTC stock I also have to look up if there is any special tax bullshit that I have to deal with buying canadastocks and getting paid leafdivs
>entire world economy is collapsing >reaching new all time high in stocks One of these things is not real.
Anthony Allen
Right here, bought US oil stocks when they hit their lowest point a while back on the assumption that the US wouldn't just let its oil companies go under. Feels good man.
Jace Reed
>shorting Tesla before 900 bruh
John Gonzalez
>shorting a stock that went up 10 consecutive days Theres fish smarter than you

May contracts are at 24 now and June are 29. When the rollover happens you will lose the difference so $5. This happens every month. If you want to play oil and you think the price will be higher in the future then open a futures account and buy one of the contracts that still has many months to expiration. The problem is when you do the rollover and go from the 24 to 29 dollar price, you can expect the 29 dollar price to very quickly converge to 24. Keep doing this and your stack dwindles
>literally implying Trump won't do everything in his power to sustain the US fracking industry >implying energy autonomy isn't vital during wartime
Why do you think Hitler invaded North Africa? History repeats itself. We are witnessing history tonight, lads. Trump has ramped up his anti-China rhetoric significantly this past week. Just last night he called China's numbers completely false. I predict foreign oil tariffs and the confirmation that Covid-19 is a bioweapon.
Chase Robinson
We’re gonna make it bro
Henry Brown
America is literally the biggest oil producer in the world, retard. We are not dependent on foreign oil as before.
Ian Howard
>no fees, no commission, and no currency conversion which broker you use >dicked hard on exchange rates why not do Norbits Gambit so you can have some USD on hand.
Jose Moore
Common sense you don’t leverage short a stock thats rallying that long. Good thing you retards don’t have any real money to lose.
James Robinson
gambler's fallacy, thinking it has to go down because it's been up for 10 days is also gambler's fallacy
Leo Taylor
Thinking about shorting retail stock options.
Just texted a buddy explaining my reasoning, but department stores are at substantial risk during this time.
They are essentially, resellers of designers brands..
With online retail taking off right now, and brick and mortar retail closed, these stores, are at substantial risk by having to employee people, having to pay for real estate not being utilized, and hanging on to slow moving inventory that has to compete with online sales.
>>it went up 10 days in a row >>therefor it must go up 11 days in a row >What kind of thinking is this called? Don't short until the trend is down. You're looking for lower highs and lower lows before you even think about selling. You're trying to time the reversal. This is a loser's game
but I'm also buying in CAD so the div yield comes through properly. unless CAD continues to devalue vs USD forever, then Oh well
I want to buy it! if I'm going to have a first adventure buying OTC canadastocks, I want SLEEP COUNTRY to be the one. Because I like the name and I love sleeping
guys, if trump throws tarrifs, what happens to companies such ash RDS.A/B?
Dylan Garcia
I want to short some earnings... fuck the president is talking I'll be back after I will stand and salute this man.. I appreciate him and want to give him my full attention.

>tfw held an inverse etf over the weekend >4 grand in it >also oil
Bear powerlevel is greater than Bull powerlevel today

also @mods,
I can develop the feature to embed stock prices directly in threads when we $LINK to them
maybe create a userscript and submit?

>which broker do you use wealthsimple >why not do norbits gambit because wealthsimple is shit and doesn't let you hold USD
in Canada you get to choose between a really awful, truly terrible no commission broker (wealthsimple), $10 comission online brokers (Questrade), or boomer bank brokers (TD Direct Investing, BMO, etc)
what REALLY grinds my gears is that Canadians don't get access to TD Ameritrade

My Other Position is $500 of UCO $3 Calls exipring in July on my TD ameritrade account.
Admittedly, I’m up a lot in the all time. My all time return is 400%+, but my 1 month return is -70%
