I'll go first: What is the oracle problem? And why is it such a big deal

Are there any crypto currency that can survive quantum computing?

It's a big problem for chainlink because it's the only thing it can do.
Tezos can do Oracles and so much more. You really think real legitimate companies want to use Chainlink ? They wont even use Ethereum.

The stockmarket of the future will be on Tezos. Billions of dollars are already on the Tezos blockchain.

stabletez.com/ In years or months someone will create a stockexchange on Tezos that will revolutionize everything. You will be able to own Coffe or Gold on the Tezos blockchain.

>ITT: Ask questions about crypto that you are afraid to ask

Question that you can't even understand by hours of googling, because you lack of any concept related to the technologies. In hope to get a more simple answer here.

-> How about starting to 'study' yourself from bottom up so you understand them. Making sense out of halfassed answers from ppl who have 'knowledge' could work for you, but in the long run knowing this stuff yourself, like simple algebra is key to smart investments in near future.

I mean I don't get it. It just is a platform where commodities can be traded? Can't eth already do this with tokenized assets? What's the point?

Also link and tezos solve very different problems so

why is op such a faggot?

This
Op is a lazy retard

> It's not secure.

Tezos has mathematically provable smart contracts. It's completely decentralized. It's superior and towers above all other blockchains,

Its a big deal but linkfags are misguided. Almost every company is working on this problem. Even the company oracle is. They really have no incentive to use chainlink as they can roll theyre own once someone figures it out.

You will come to realize literally no one knows what they're talking about and even if they do, the smart projects won't necessarily succeed. dozens of projects do the same thing and theres often no way to tell which will be adopted

Did you misquote

any crypto can be made quantum resistent if necessary

the chainlink whitepaper explains the oracle problem

but not how to solve it kek

Chainlink has solved the oracle problem, just KYC all your nodes and don't let anyone else participate.

so is it true that Craig Wright's court case is essentially determining the date of BTC vs BSV? or is this just hyperbole from BSV bagholders

Can the Gemini exchange be used for puts and calls? If so, is there a video or article that would help me understand the process?

I want to use a regulated US based exchange if possible.

The Oracle Problem can be explained like this.
Imagine you're at McDonald's and you want a McChicken. You give your order to the cashier and when he passes it onto the cook, he tells the cook you wanted a Big Mac. The cook prepares the Big Mac, gives it to the cashier, who then he gives it to you. Now you're expected to pay for a more expensive burger that you didn't even want :(
In this scenario, the cashier is the Oracle and the burger is data.
Chainlink solves the cashier problem by letting you select how many cashiers you want to relay on your order to the cook for a small price. Logically, the more important the order, the more cashiers you'll select.
The idea here is that the cook will prepare the order that the majority of cashiers say is correct and the chance that the cook is able to prepare the correct order increases when more cashiers are involved. Consequently, the cashier that relayed the wrong order and is shit at their job gets fired. The Cook gets paid by McDonald's, the cashier(s) get a small tip from you, and you get your correct order. Everybody wins!

>why is it such a big deal
it really isnt

>I'll go first: What is the oracle problem? And why is it such a big deal

Blockchains are built from the ground up to be secure and tamper-free. You know that transactions that goes on on a blockchain can't be manipulated without control over the blockchain. This is how trustless smartcontracts were derived, where you don't need to trust that it will work as intended. But here's the problem, smartcontracts are useless without outside data. If you were to do a contract/deal/bet/whatever with someone, how you're going to do it with some event, no? How does the contract know the event happened? How does the contract know the outcome of the event? The entity that pulls that information is called the oracle. However, how do you trust the oracle? Having a faulty oracle undermines the entire point of using a blockchain as now we have a single, critical, point of failure on between event and the blockchain and from the blockchain to the users. And as well we all know, the weakest link breaks the chain.

That is the oracle problem.

so coins dont work right yet
lol

Can nobody help with this? I want to dca into crypto but somewhat insure my dollar value.

Fucking bullshit... do you guys really only limit order buy and sell, or gamble with leverage, on Chinese exchanges while arguing about oracles on a cartoon forum? There must be an adult in the room somewhere.

Fucking KILL YOURSELF you worthless piece of human trash. You don't deserve anything.

How do I start? I want to make it too

What is a "coin"???

Nolinker cope

Answer me this. I'd the whole point of crypto is to be decentralized for the purpose of mot being tampered by with humans then what's the fuck point of adding centralized Oracles you fucking meme following brainlets. Fuck me. Buy Tellor you stupid faggots. The link meme pump is done. Now it's just reddit man whores trying to make it move higher

What is the best wallet to use?

Open coinbasepro account, deposit monies, buy crypto.

Download AtomicWallet, send crypto from exchange to wallet, have your wallet on your phone and PC, it tracks prices too.

>I don't know, I only swing crypto with 30x leverage, but your adult investment question angers me. ~ You.
