Can any user really help me out here? I want to put $5000 into crude oil as an investment. How does one do this? I keep seeing WTI and brent but I have no idea where and how to buy. I don't want to go for a leveraged ETF or something, just something that doesn't get me liquidated, I don't care about a -80%.
Buying Oil
Buy stock of commodity tied companies or open a forex trading account and trade oil contracts directly. Insert meme about storing barrels at home. That's about it.
just go to your local gas station
fill up all containers you have available
If you can't smell it, its not yours.
Fuck you man.
buy etfs, buy stocks of oil companies
bump for answers to op
i too need to know.
should i buy stock in Shell, Mobil, Exxon?
how do i do this? how do i as a private investor gain access to purchasing company stocks like this?
Do you guys use eTrade or what?
is there an online broker that you can use for free to buy and sell stocks?
>open a forex trading account
how?
where?
Why are retards so attracted to oil.
Is oil the ultimate low iq retard magnet?
Are oil notes the ultimate way to 'beat' the hyperinflation meme? Theoretically oil will keep its value as the lifeblood of every avenue of production int he world
buy low sell high
oil is low, time to buy
its the easiest most simplest thing i can see and understand
Yas Forums brains have been mutated with the cryptoboi virus and forgotten fundamentals it would seem
because they like free money. you'd have to be the retard to not realize oil will never be sub $20/barrel again any time soon
I don't trade forex personally, but forex.com would likely be a good place to start if that's really what you have your heart set on?
Imo yes. It always derisks the fastest, it always pumps ahead of the stock market because oil contracts need to be purchased BEFORE manufacturing can be turned back on, and even though simps are parroting grim transportation & freight stats they're ignoring that without oil derived nitrate fertilizers the earth's agricultural carrying capacity drops from 9 bil to 2.5 bil. As long as we have mouths to feed the drilling will never stop. Slow, maybe. But stop? Never.
>Forex
eh, i think i was confuse on what this is
i'm not looking to exchange foreign currencies. i just want to buy/sell stocks, maybe ETFs and whatnot
COPE.
youtu.be
Forex also let's you trade commodity:currency pairings, not just currency:currency pairings.
But yeah, I would just find some good oil producers with low debt if you want to bet on oil. More straightforward.

Though you're like.
Weeks late.
What fucking fundamentals?
We're in the clown market; There's no fundamentals, just endless cycles of buffoonery.
Just bought some shell. I know it will go down more and then I will buy more.
i heard about an autist who bought 10,000 physical barrels at $20 each and is housing them in a warehouse. very curious if an update is posted
Yes your safest bets are large caps like XOM, RDS, and Chevron. However you stand to make the most money in shale/north american refineries stocks such as MRO, MPC, CVE, SLB, HAL, APA. These are dangerous investments but again they have massive reward potential if they recover
How’d he do this
Use Robinhood
I initially tried to go with M1 Finance but they took a week to verify my bank account, I literally missed out on so much money
I decided to go with Robinhood, who took 15 hours
ah, ok. thanks. i still don't understand it all but im beginning to research and learn bit by bit.
i joined a zero fee online brokerage and Forex is one of their included services. So I'll look into it a bit more after i start with some simple oil company stock purchase
thanks for the tips
Based and Abo pilled
Doesn’t it go bad rather quickly?
That's what you retards said at 30, 25, 20, etc now it's at 18 even after the opec+ deal.
The demand supply is increasing and demand is decreasing.
>MUH OIL
You guys are crazy oil will go negative soon
Canada says lockdowns most of the year and Oil price will not stabilize.
Why does no one listen to Canada? Its basically a perfect country.
is there an ETN i can buy and hold? Not have to worry about decay or other shit? I want to buy and hold to bet on an oil price recovery at some point.
