How much did you invest, user

>people will never fly again
This is why you lose money

This is what comes up for me:

>Boeing and Airbus delivered 20 and 36 commercial jets in March 2020 compared to 54 and 74 deliveries, respectively, in the same month last year. With just 50 deliveries this year to date, Boeing is 99 shipments behind last year’s total for the first quarter. Airbus has delivered a total of 122 jets from January to March compared to 162 during the same period last year.

>For the full year 2019, Boeing delivered 380 aircraft, while Airbus set a new all-time annual record, handing over 863 jets.

> Boeing’s shipments will likely take a substantial hit in April due to the ongoing suspension of production at the company’s locations in Washington and South Carolina.

Sounds like Airbus is in good shape overall, but due to COVID, the stock is down. Why wouldn't you buy this?

meh, pasting broke at some point:

>Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Airbus will cut production on several programs for the remainder of the year. The A320 production rate has been reduced to 40 aircraft per month, down from an average of over 53 aircraft per month in 2019. The A330 and A350 programs are reduced to a rate of two and six aircraft per month, respectively. No rate cut has been announced for the A220 or the A380, however, Airbus has delayed a planned A220 production ramp-up at its Mirabel facility near Montreal, where the company has been producing four A220s per month.

they suspended this years dividend, next year should be fine

>Boeing reported 31 gross orders in March and 150 cancellations for a total of -119 net new orders.

>Airbus booked 60 gross orders and reported 44 cancellations for a net of 16.

pic related. airbuses are made to carry tons of people. when do you see tons of people travelling again?

Boeing

This + EU more fucked than US, Airbus is worth watching tho

Boeing literally hasn't sold a plane in Q1, they had 120 net cancellations.

Not relevant on which one is a better long position to take first though.

Boeing is the 2nd largest def con on planet. AirBus is not. Boeing is fine if things normalize and fine if it's war. AirBus not so much.

>Boeing is fine if things normalize and fine if it's war.
True, no denying this.

There is one weakness with Boeing, though. If they fully lean on their military arm now as civilian aviation is drying up, they will come out of this weaker on the civilian side.

IF Airbus plays their cards right (some doubt here), they could mop up the small narrowbody segment with the A220, the larger narrowbodies with the A320 NEO and attack in the long-range segment with an even longer A350.

And then shift funding to electro-turbines. Flying won't go away any time soon, but there will be more pressure to reduce CO2

Boeing is #3 after the RTX merger

>Nobody points out '2.5 times lower'
Fuck this board has gone to absolute shit.

>Boeing literally hasn't sold a plane in Q1
Not true. Why does this keep getting repeated? Nearly all the cancellations are for the 737max, which was on hold to begin with. ANA just made a $5 billion order for 15 787's. Net 787 orders are at 25 for the year.

As soon as crisis ends??

bombardier c series is the only plane that will be sold at profit in the next years.

Airbus just completed the launch of Solar orbitor. thanks for posting this

It's going to get delisted you jumbo brainlet!

If you like money, get some UND before main net.

This 1.5m distance shit is going to continue for another 2 years at least. Try filling a plane with like 30 people and make it profitable.

Because Oil is a better investment right now

i heard something like that. they want to keep doing that until a vaccine?
imagine being a kid the coming year

Boeing in an american company so eligible for dat infinite fed money financed bailout

Airbus isn't

Why is the OTC so much cheaper?

Airbus has a US subsidiary incorporated as a US company. Guess who'll be getting sweet JPOW money...

Both Airbus and Boeing have a similar problem, a large number of unsold planes. BA has an astounding 76 billion in unsold planes. These companies could turn things around, if they could sell their stock, but healthy buyers just don't exist at the moment.

bump

>ends
