Yugioh and pokemon were created by professional businessmen. MTG was created by manbabies and fat nerds. The original pokemon video games were written in a mix of binary and assembly and actually had their own unique computer architecture. If you wanted to replicate that today, you couldn't. We don't have the technology or brainpower to do that anymore.

so those cards are like $15-20 apeace but would be 200-300 if unlimited over 1k in beta and over 2k in alpha on average
