How retarded is it to even buy this inflated Linknode bullshit?
When LINK reaches $10,000 we get only 0,0001 LINK for a job. So basically one gets less LINK the more value the Network has.
STAKING LINK

Was a good buy at crowdsale. Hasn't been a good buy since.
>when LINK reaches $10,000
We'll be there in 13 months. Cap this.
so this shit is finally going to moon?
thanks just bought 1 LP
>When LINK reaches $10,000 we get only 0,0001 LINK for a job.
See, my LP shares make me 1 LINK every 14 days right now. That's a future $20K every month.
Because the more people use it the more they rake in?
Yeah, just that you won't get 1 LINK in the future anymore. Higher price means less LINK.
All I'm saying is: It does not make sense at this point to invest in Linkpool because you could buy way more LINK with it.
Yeah, but currently, only the tick oracle node is paying. If Chainlink sees adoption, tons of nodes will be hosted by LP and pay muh tendies. The old "selling shovels in a gold rush" thing. Suffice to say I also hold LINK so I can stake.
If CL doesn't see adoption, both will be worthless.
>If CL doesn't see adoption, both will be worthless.
Yeah, this won't happen. The cat is out of the bag now
See, that's why I am pretty optimistic my 3LP will give me nice rewards.
Or, to be concrete, I am waiting for a main-net timetable so greater fools than me can FOMO this shit up even more till I sell into their $30K bids
Let's do some quick maths.
Let's say you have 1 LP share, at a cost of $6,656 or 2067 Link tokens.
You're expecting 1 link token to be worth $10,000 eventually
If you were to sell that LP share right now, that's a future $20.67m
Do you think getting $20,000 a month on a $20.67m investment is a good return? pro tip.. it isn't.
>If CL doesn't see adoption, both will be worthless.
Actually Linkpool will do just fine even if Chainlink was to die. It can be profitable just as an ETH staking pool, which makes Linkpool shares a less risky investment than Link itself.
Touche my friend.
No, I don't believe LINK will go to $10K, that would be insanity. I copied the value for its pure, unadulterated dumbness from OP.
I am sitting on 3 LP and 12K LINK and I am waiting which one will moon harder to sell in some buying frenzy like last summer.
Holy shit you're retarded. I can't believe how few people understand LP. Its like 1 Link right NOW. Right now there are only heartbeat pay outs. There is no mainnet staking. Nobody has bought this because the payouts are great right now, they buy because they think the payouts will be much much better later and want to get in early.
When LINK is 10000$, LP will be netting you more than 1 Link per month(assuming you have 1 full share)
Whats an LP? Im new to crypto stuff. Not trolling or anything. I read through these threads and have no clue what ppl r talking about
Thanks. I hope they do. ETH 2.0 is still a bit far away, so I can understand Johnny Huxtable is looking for the low-hanging fruit.
ETH 2.0 is way waaay nearer than any sort of Chainlink staking.
THIS IS A SHILL THREAD I REPEAT THIS IS A SHILL THREAD!!!!
LINKPOOL HOLDERS ARE HOLDING UP THE PRICE THE SAME WAY BOOMERS ARE HOLD UP PROPERTY. THEY GOT FUCKED AND DONT WANT TO SELL THIS OVERVALUED PIECE OF SHIT AT A LOSS
Linkpool.io runs a node hosting service that will allow customers to stake LINK (which is non-trivial to stake) on their infrastructure.
The founders had a small ICO in Summer of 2018 where they sold a small number of shares in the Linkpool operating profits (like only 4000 share or so).
Back then, a share was cheap (low 3-digit amount), but now they go for $6000 - $7000 apiece.
Your mom's suction is currently holding up my erection, so stop the shouting.
>Back then, a share was cheap
it was never cheap you nufag piece of shit
>that logo
Are you all gonna just pretend that you don't see it?
How was 1ETH/1LP expensive?
eth back then was not 150$$
I know. I think i was between $500 and $700 which is why I only threw in 3 ETH. But compared to the current LP price, it's a 10x or something (30x in ETH).
so you threw in that much money for lp when link was .50 at the time. you do understand that link pool wont be the only staking service right? i know of two now that are setting stuff up right now
>so you threw in that much money for lp when link was .50 at the time.
Hindsight trading, but LP's 10-12x beat LINK's 6x, so I am good.
>you do understand that link pool wont be the only staking service right? i know of two now that are setting stuff up right now
Yes, and LP won't capture the whole market. There will even be more oracle solutions like band protocol. Doesn't matter, LP have the first-mover advantage and they are part of the CL team.
And I'd rather stake with a guy who likes pets than a big-ass company like Coinbase or Binance.
I got 0.2 from the ICO and have been thinking about getting a bit more of late. Annoyign with the whales though, just pulled orders and went from 30 to 40 ETH per LP. Low liquidity so easy to manipulate.
To add: I am not the smartest guy around, I put more money into REQ than in LINK at their respective ICOs. But at least I bought during 2017 and 2018.
>Annoyign with the whales though, just pulled orders and went from 30 to 40 ETH per LP. Low liquidity so easy to manipulate.
Also ETH fell from $280 to $150, so that rise in the LP/ETH price lowered the price from $8.5K to $6.3K
Nah just happened in last couple of days with the Gemini pump. Went from 1500 LINK/LP to 1900 LINK/LP.
you think lp has first mover advantage because some retard makes a shill thread here twice a week.
>See, my LP shares make me 1 LINK every 14 days right now. That's a future $20K every month.
How much would I need to invest for this?
t. brainlet with cash to spare
> It can be profitable just as an ETH staking pool, which makes Linkpool shares a less risky investment than Link itself.
>Implying that Eth is less risky than chainlink
JUST
Yep been like this for a week with same image and "non-shill" OP.
kek eth dumping means you went 10-12x.
thats a good way to look at it
To preface, this is just a service test running all the time. They run a node that spits out the current time as an test oracle.
However, they pay out real LINK to LP holders. So, every fortnite, the "rewards for the excellent test node operation" will be split up. and a transaction from 0x182d4990bb0ff595b308b3efcb93313abad575e7 gives me 1 LINK, no questions asked.
Their DEX, staking.linkpool.io
LP has first mover advantage because they're... you guessed it, the first mover. In addition to their CEO literally working with chainlink and having a direct connection to the chainlink team.
Linkpool has been overpriced forever now
That's exactly how it is, though. 1LP share back then: $500
1LP share now: $6500
6500
% 500
