Ive been keeping a million+ bag of this for ages. Its a slow burner and hasnt done much so far but its probably the best project in crypto

Rarely good comes quickly. Also the scale of this project is just massive which is one of reasons why this is a slow burner.
>keeping a million+ bag
Damn.. I'm jealous. What's your avg buy-in price?

Prob like 3c average. So still down on it but not concerned at all. Its about 13% of my portfolio but my largest small cap bag (also have some RSR and idena)

>13% of my portfolio
Just damn.. You must be one of the 2017 bullrun winners, right?

With the potential they have, a 1M+ bag could absolutely be fuck you money for the rest of your life.

why no pump?

If not hype pump, then it will pump via market buys by customers like iQiyi. This will be slower and steadier process tho.

Ha I did well in 2017 but still lost a lot from my ATH. I think linkies were the true winners of crypto, unfortunately I missed that train but I see NKN with similar potential down the line

LINK All Time High/Low stats according to CMC:
All Time High: $4.95 USD (Mar 04, 2020)
All Time Low: $0.126297 USD (Sep 23, 2017)
That's roughly 40x profit.
Now see NKN All Time Low stat according to CMC:
All Time Low: $0.006411 USD (Mar 13, 2020)
And I can see NKN going beyond $1-2 USD in a long-run.
That's over 150-300x profit.
Your 3c avg would mean over 30-60x profit with $1-2 USD/NKN.
I personally think that NKN will perform better than LINK in a long-run.

Reminder that this will never happen.
They even set the nCDN prices that way; to keep prices from ever going up, like $10 vs 10NKN.
They take $10 bucks, and they use 10 NKN, pocketing the change.
Absolute fuckery.

Except it doesn't work that way at all.
They said that they give majority of fiat to nodes via NKN market buys. Straight NKN purchases go to nodes 100% but companies won't use that method usually.

BEWARE, MKM IS A SCAM

>"they said"
oh sweetie, dear summer child, you don't just take things at face value when you're dealing with a private enterprise.
Remember when they said
"we have a new marketing team"
and no marketing was done after that?
or
"details about nCDN in Q4"
and nothing was said about that since?
Or how about, and this is my favorite,
"we prefer letting "the community" develop things on NKN, rather than hiring developers ourselves"
and nothing was done to incentivize anyone? How there's 0 community?

Yeah, keep day dreaming if you want, but don't expect the coin price to reflect those dreams.

What % down from ath is nkn? I'm guessing a lot more than chainlink, which didn't even hit ant until a couple months ago, during a bear market, after the great crash. In the long run chainlink is still going up. Nkn has been in a death spiral since bitcoin dropped to 17k.

Nkn sucks and you're spamming this forum with junk

Wow, you are really going into the route of bullshitting new fags. They have used 3rd party marketing team, but not going all-in with funds that are mainly meant for development.
They have talk about nCDN with details if you have looked into their messaging deeper. They even have a marketing video for it. The community has made software for NKN, look into NKNx environment for example. They have got rewards for their work as well. Look into Discord and Telegram to see the community you big fat lying scum.

Don't expect me to disillusion your "look into it deeper" and "not going all-in" cope. That's just pathetic, and you know it.

>one has finished its product a long time ago (LINK)
>one is about to launch its products (NKN)
NKN has much more to show for the markets

does link even do anything?

Well it parses any JSON you want basically.

ok i researched a bit and want to buy some and mine
question to miners - is it better to deploy many low-performance nodes or one or two high-performance?

poor man's siacoin

Proper garbage-tier fud.

So for one the price was $6 vs 200 NKN, which at the time was $4. So it's 30% cheaper to buy in yourself instead of going through the team via fiat. They've also said they'll change the price of nCDN depending on the token's progress.

The only way the project scales is with profitable miners, so the whole "they want to keep the price down" meme is laughable. They'd kill their own network if they made it unprofitable to mine forever.

Well he's not wrong. NKNx built some great tools for NKN and were rewarded 500,000 NKN for their effort.

Claiming Link has a finished product is a fuckin bold one.

Many low-performance. High-performance does nothing at the moment as you can't currently run TUNA on your node.

And yet, Sia got BTFO when tested against NKN. They couldn't hold a candle to the performance or scaling.

>They couldn't hold a candle to the performance or scaling.
Because NKN is fake and gay. Blockchains don't scale and are never performant on protocol. That's the trade-off; massive inefficiency for decentralized security. NKN is a reward token for a p2p CDN created so its parent company could raise capital during the crypto bubble.

They're not just a P2P CDN. They're a massive PoR network, with CDN as a single service run on top (one of many), along with ability to scale over a billion nodes currently.

> Sia got rekt in testing
> NKN clearly fake and gay.

Go cope in one of the other threads, kid.

NKN can scale to billions of nodes without many additional resources though, because their cellular automata based consensus works locally

Got a 150k bag. Lets see how this goes in 2020. I wonder if a project that will increase the global network capacity is a good investment now...

They have a lot of communication and remote resource applications in the works / available, and working with China Mobile right now to help those who need better remote comms while everyone's locked down. They're actually pretty well suited for a global lockdown. Video streaming demand goes up, remote work load goes up, etc etc.

Is NKN like the high quality internet thing from the Sillicon Valley tv show?

pretty much

Yes.
NKN can run the idea of the final [pied piper] project in the show.
