Why are millennials cheering for a housing market crash?
Why are millennials cheering for a housing market crash?
because believe it or not some millenials want a house. Boomers asking 600 grand for 900 sqft with no property is fucking retarded
Cause most homes have DOUBLED in price within the last 10 years.
we would like to live in a home sir
Suppose there is a housing correction.
Banks will only lend with 20% down and 6 months of emergency funds for the mortgage/property tax payments. Plus millennials will be unemployed and unable to meet those requirements.
Vulture capital will reap the day.
if housing looks like crashing they'll just bring in a few more million cashed out chinese
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 30 YEAR OLDS CAN'T JUST BUY HOMES REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
This has to be a troll
You’re not entitled to live in a high col area if you can’t afford it then move
U.S has plenty of affordable housing, sorry you won’t be in LA or NYC
This is a good deal, goyim.
>NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>YOU CAN'T JUST LET OVER INFLATED ASSETS RETRACE TO SENSIBLE LEVELS
>YOU HAVE TO PRINT MORE MONEY AND PROP THEM UP AND ALSO IMPORT SHITSKINS TO MAKE UP THE DIFFERENCE
>THIS IS LANDLORDS FAULT!
Because boomers deserve to be savagely beaten to death in the streets.
i live in illinois sir and have a 4 year degree in business sir could i please have a decent home or do i need to eat more bootstraps?
Let it burn, the banks de-listed houses just to keep the prices up after 2008.
Just move in with 10 of your friends and buy the house together... do the needful
I make 45k and have a house in my state capital for 170k, get over it. I didn’t go to college either. I work at a warehouse
I also have no neighbors behind me, and I’m not in a ghetto
Cope
I live in Illinois and I bought a house...
apply yourself kid
Boomer landlords getting the rope would fix anything related to housing
This has to be bait. There's no way this is a real article published by someone with an intention of anything but satire.
You're not entitled to high real estate prices either tho
Has anybody had to cut back on tipping their landlord? I used to go with a 20% tip, but have had to cut back to 5% and I feel kind of bad... Not sure if this is an American thing, but
Ventilate Boomer
Look another retard
Socialists are seriously pants on head retarded.
>I did it
>So can every one else!
my entire plan was to make it in crypto and buy a house in cash after it dips 70% so yeah, I am cheering it on.
t. flyover state
No one is entitled to anything faggot, millennials aren’t entitled to homes but neither are boomers entitled to profits. Everyone roots for what benefits them. If anything the boomers are entitled if they expect millennials to side with them for moral reasons.
>low wage job
>spent 3.8x his annual wagie salary on a home
lmao
I'm not even as mad about the prices as much as I am about rich boomers hoarding like 5 or 6 houses at once trying to play landlord. The city where I live still has somewhat bearable prices, and yet there are already people paying $600/mo for one ROOM in a house.
cope
Ok boomer, no one cares about your 401k
okay retard.
>i live in flyover and bought a pile of plywood and drywall for 170k. cope.
Anyway, I don't see anything wrong with hoping for a market correction.
Luckily I am in a financial position where I can keep up my 15% monthly tip. Embarassingly though, I was only able to afford a $200 bonus over the holidays because my car broke down and needed emergency repairs. Normally I offer my landlord a holiday bonus equal to one full months' rent and I usually try to throw in a basket of home baked christmas cookies as well. I wasn't able to do either this year and I worry that I've fallen in their esteem. I received a sternly worded letter in March reminding me that I am just, in their words, 'another rentcuck paypig like any other that [they] could replace at the drop of a hat', which was quite hurtful to hear as I thought I had I gone above and beyond these past two years to really distinguish myself from the rest of the rentier class. But I can't blame them, I really dropped the ball on their holiday bonus. If I get evicted, I'll fully understand it to be my own fault.
