SPCE is retarded and for retards. Think about it. Virgin (first, it's IN THE NAME, Virgin Galactic versus Chad SpaceX) has a semi-reusable glider that can just barely pop above 100km for a few minutes of sightseeing. It costs millions per flight and has no other use. Starship is to Spaceship One what a 747 is to a paraglider.
I don't think SpaceX will want to compete with airlines, rather, I think SpaceX would prefer to sell airlines Starships to replace long haul jets. It would still be Air Canada or Delta or Air Emirates operating the Starship. But I could be wrong on that. That's also like, a 2030 thing at the earliest. Starship will need to demonstrate thousands of flights before airlines and passengers accept it.

Yeah, you might be right on that point. I also think that you'll probably need a special passport to even ride on one, which certifies that you're healthy enough to ride what's essentially an ICBM and have received all sorts of special training for emergency situations, basically astronaut training for civilians. Long haul flights will still exist for people too unhealthy and/or incompetent to meet those qualifications.
