I got a silver one of these, 2017 I think, only 500 produced.
Jaxon Brown
My lawn guy he told me he had a “rare coin” and wanted to ask me what it was worth. He brought me pic related, told him it was worth $5 and gave him 10. About to sell for $49.99
Its about getting more for your money, not what the bar looks like right?
Cooper Harris
I'll buy them for $12

Dont historic mexican silver coins use a 80-20 mix, doesnt that think have as much silver content as Us half dollar. I am surprised there is a numismatic market for Mexican silver in vf condition.
Adam Moore
guys, I have 2k in bank rn, should I smash them and order an oz of gold, should I buy a shit ton of silver, or should I just hold on to it at least until my next paycheck? I don't need the money in that account to survive btw
I was shocked too, but apparently there is. I'll link listings

eBay is full of counterfeits. I can’t say whether this one is or not but it’s safer to buy from a reputable dealer. eBay is risky
Grayson Cox
How many do you plan to buy, what is the sales tax you will pay, Are you willing to pay a 25% premium for buillion
Jaxon Walker
1. Don't spend everything at once 2. Maybe split 60/40 in favor of the one you like more, that way you're hedged

>Ordered 10 coins from providentmetals a month ago >They just came in today >Realized they weren't silver eagles but instead these bootleg ass knockoffs
This shit should be illegal. What the fuck? I didn't even know they made fake shit like this, I was just buying some quick silver because I knew shit was going to hit the fan. I'm so fucking mad right now, who the fuck would even want to buy these pieces of shit off me?
can't I just sue or something if it's counterfeit.
Also says that 767 people bought it
Luis Sullivan
Just aim to own 30-50 oz of silver and focus on not starving to death.
Nolan Jones
If I were you, I would hold on to the cash for a bit longer. While silver might start tending upward, I think gold is meeting stiff resistance at 1700 and is likely to drop below 1500 in the next 2 weeks to a month, especially if the lockdown lifts
Carter Robinson
ebay is not full of counterfeits. Amazon is tho. Lots of coin shops and dealers have ebay stores. Buy from someone with over 1000 feedback all positive.
Nathan Wilson
what does an on the spot price mean and why are there none available now?
Jeremiah Anderson
Its only risky if you don't people who ONLY sell silver

What is a good reputable dealer in the US?

But, American Silver Eagles look nothing like the St. Gaudens Liberty

PayPal and ebay are insured.

There is a link in the OP for findbullion, it lists several bullion dealers and their best prices.

10oz silver towne bars, are they as good as coins? I didn't want to pay the premium for ASE, got these bars at 16/oz delivered. Ordered in March before things got really wild. First leap into PMs, ordered 2oz gold (q Eagle and 1 Buffalo) and 100 oz silver (10oz bars). Hope it works out. We'll see.
Luke Gonzalez
okay, I was this posterThis guy says it could be counterfeit. So buy govt minted bars, but what is a premium that is worth paying?
Everyone on here is shilling for silver, but it seems like it is still very risky
Elijah Allen
This. I have bought a shit ton of silver from ebay. All tested and its all good. Just look for sellers who have lots of sales, 100% ratings, and have fast shipping with a guarantee on their products. It's easy to tell the vibe of a seller.
Colton Nelson
Spot is when someone is selling physical bullion at the Comex market price. Usually physical metal has a premium, some shops sell promotion silver at spot. However, because the demand for silver at premium is fucking bananas, no one is offer spot promos.
Grayson Butler
I have a lot more than 2k but in cash. I'm not going to spend it to order stuff from the internet though
I have a farm, and already have more than 50oz of silver rn, plus see above
you're making sense to me

I've wondered this... What's stopping a person from doing the classic fleabay refund scam on sellers in this situation? Disputes go to the buyer 99% of the time by default, what's stopping someone from clawing payment back after receiving delivery?
My personal rule is to never buy silver bars above 1 ounce. There is a high payout to counterfeiters if they can fool you to buying a fake 10 ounce bar (even though the one in your pic is real based on what I have seen from the seller and the fact that it's cheap because its a plain boring design nobody wants). You will want to stick to liquidity. If you sell silver, you will want to naturally want to appeal to buyers. I personally learned this the hard way. If you sell that bar to a store, they will pay a little under spot.
This is where silver eagles come in. Personally I hate them, but I ONLY buy them because I know they appeal to every coin shop in the world. You will get spot and even a little extra cash.
Silver eagles are like freshly baked cookies and stores can smell em a mile a way and want to buy em all from you.
Generic silver are like special discount last-day-before-tossed ground beef. It almost stinks and nobody really wants it but they will buy it for cheap.
Trust me, after selling a fuck ton of generic silver in my life, silver eagles get respect.
New to silver market, saw lady in robe, they're obviously aiming for iconography. I'm only passively glancing at the thumbnail image because I didn't even consider someone trying to rip off a design at one of these "legitimate" sellers. I've only ever purchased gold buffalos and wanted to get some silver before shortages. I got my timing right since silver was still in stock everywhere when I did, but I definitely didn't get what I was expecting. When I saw them in real life I immediately knew they weren't silver eagles.
1 oz Silver Saint-Gauden Round. I had to re-check my receipt too, and then make sure I didn't order from the wrong site. My first thought was I ProvidentMedals or something. Honestly going to just hold them until paper price corrects and flip the pieces of shit back at them. Fuck these pieces of junk.

How would one go about buying equities with silver after the paradigm shift?

>they appeal to every coin shop in the world Canadian here. How appealing are maple leaf coins. I prefer to buy my own countries coins.

Every country I have traveled, countries love their own government...but literally even in Canada, they seemed to love silver eagles and Morgan dollars. Those two are loved all over the world. USA stores will buy other country government silver sometimes at exact spot or $1 less under spot, but silver eagles always get you extra.
Justin Rogers
Is this a fake buffalo coin? Notice it has 2020 and is stamped HM
>Paying 5$ over spot (15$ so 33% markup) so you can have left ebin govt coin Fucking reddit tier Anyone with half a brain stacks the closest to spot usually 100 oz bars or "junk" 100 oz bars assume you are buying from reputable dealer not China chink Lee from eBay

Okay so is anyone considering platinum?

its spring gents, that means its nearly the start of the 2020 prospecting season. So many claims to check out, so many leads to explore. As soon as the snow leaves its off to the hills again.
First things first I have to get back to the north of BC to see if I can access my silver claims, if I cant do that its back to the placer claims until melt.
If anyone wants info on prospecting ask it here, and i ll get to it eventually. What info on your local areas natural resources? Where to look in creeks for nugget gold? How to stake your claim or similar info ask away!
what are your predictions for the amount of ASE's that are minted by end of year. i'm guessing they'll make 15 million 2020 ASE's about the same amount as last year. but since the US is changing the design next year, i assume demand for the 2020's will stay high
