Ammo business

I’m thinking of starting a new business, the traveling ammo merchant. So I was thinking on walking around the neighborhoods selling ammo door to door. What do you guys think? I know I have to get a license in my area, but is there anything else I need to be concerned about?

>sell a guy ammo
>he loads up and robs you
HMMM

>Knock Knock
>Open door
>Blackman carrying an AK-47
>YOU WANT TO BUY SOME AMMO!?
Its either going to be super effective or a spectacular failure.

>He does nothing because he’d have to buy load the ammo, put it in his gun, rack it, then rob me 3 doors down in the middle of broad daylight
Can you be any more retarded?

Honestly people sell grave plots door to door. Door to door sales is effective which is why its still a thing. I would just research your demographics for each zone before venturing out.

That sounds like a plan. I’m actually thinking of using a pad and writing down who buys, doesn’t answer, doesn’t have the money, or doesn’t want me to come back. Then revising and using that as targeted areas. I’ve done door knocking before, it sucks honestly but the money you make within the short timeframe is amazing. I was thinking of even employing people if it gets big enough

>let me load it up first before i buy it just to see how it feels in my gun
>gee, sure Mr.

Make sure you hit the poorest areas first

What will you be carrying to protect yourself and your supply? Post loadout pic.

This is actually a really good idea. You need a truck tho, carrying a wide assortment of ammo is heavy as hell. Maybe carry a "display" case that looks spiffy to show at people's doorsteps.

I can’t because of the state I live in. It’s retarded so I’m going to have to carry a massive folding knife. It’s actually autistic but I live in one of the most anti gun regions in the country

I’m going to start with one type and eventually expand. I’m planning on carrying a massive ammo crate (I’m physically fit so this is no issue). I’m starting with 5.56 because everyone owns that (green tips particularly because everyone wants to own that) and moving forward

Go public, sells me a bunch of shares at $0.10. Have Deutsche Bank extended a loan for $500 million to expand your business because there's no such thing as risk in a world with infinite bailouts. My shares shoot up, and I sell. We can all be billionsaires, user.

I own several guns and one of them are in 5.56. I implore you to carry at least 9mm and 12ga shells too. Those 3 should carry you relatively far, but dont sell just one caliber/load.

Wait this can be done? Is this legal?

Fucking phone. None of mine are in 5.56

You may also want to carry a variety of cleaning kits and offer on the spot cleaning services too. Lots of folks hate cleaning up after a trip to the range and put it off or never get around to it. Sales and a service doubles your chance of a profit.

I actually have been thinking about that. I’ve gotten a couple messages on some of my ammo postings asking if I had any 12 gauge or 9mm. What ammo would you recommend? Wolf is garbage so I was thinking a couple types of wolf, and normal 9mm. What else do you think? And what should I do for shotguns (I’m very unfamiliar with them)? Thank you btw user

Planning it out beforehand? No. It'll never happen for you and me. Only the kikes are allowed to pull things like this off.

I love cleaning guns, so this is a win win. Is it legal to clean on the door step or is that a question for my state police yet again?

It’s ironic. New people never get bailed out but if you’ve been in the game and know what you’re doing nothing ever happens because you’re “essential”

>Wolf is garbage so I was thinking a couple types of wolf,
They are garbage, (I only seem to get FTE with wolf) so why sell them?
> normal 9mm. What else do you think? And what should I do for shotguns

I would carry ball and hollow point 9mm.

For shotguns like what is your area and market? Hunters? home defense? that would influence what you carry and in what proportion. Remember the weight of this shit is going to add up so you want to try and know your market so you're not lugging around ten boxes of something no one will want all day.
> Is it legal to clean on the door step or is that a question for my state police yet again?

I can't see why it would be a problem in any state since they're obviously unloaded. Incidentally the police are often a bad source of info in regards to gun laws, many don't know them all that well themselves. Easier to check your state laws or ask whatever your state version of the NRA is (I live in Virginia so its the VCDL, NY is the NYSRPA, etc.)

I was thinking home defense and hunting.
>Cops are bad sources
It’s insane actually. I shalt see who is my version of the NRA. Thank you user. That’s actually a REALLY good idea to offer gun cleaning services. The profit ratio and margin is going to be insane since I can charge $20 a gun and I’m just charging my time. The overall plan is to expand and employ other people to do this for me if it gets big enough. Gosh that would be cool

Don't take a gun out into the open. Honestly user if you have to ask these questions I don't think you're gonna make it.
Also you can't sell ammo like this jn commifornia and your cluelessness makes me think you're from a blue state so good luck not getting arrested doing this.

Also keep in mind some liberal lady is definitely going to call the cops on you so if anything you're doing violates some bullshit local law you can count on yourself catching a charge 100%.

>Don’t take a gun out into the open.
I genuinely don’t care unless the cops have legal grounds to arrest me. You have to have a reason. If not and I get arrested I have a legit metric arseload of lawsuits I can file *Cough* false imprisonment *Cough*
>Blue state
Yes but it was red at one point and the liberals haven’t repealed the law yet

the only thing to really be wary about is two things:

1) A lot of gun owners are paranoid. fear of being targeted for theft may be a major problem for you.

2) A lot of gun owners will talk your ear off and still just waste your time, especially the boomers.

Anyway for shotguns and home defense, what types of neighborhoods? Suburbs with homes mades of wood frame+sheetrock are not a good fit for solid slugs or magnums. Don't wanna kill a neighbor with a missed shot because those things have a shitload of power.

12ga 00 buck is your go to home defense shell.

I'm not a hunter so I dunno much about that. This looks like a good resource to learn and hone a pitch wideopenspaces.com/what-shotgun-load-should-you-use-for-each-hunt/

This is true. I’m going to make sure I’m 100% in the clear. It’s fascinating how Karen is so obsessed with my right to own guns but isn’t obsessed with keeping her little monsters in line or teaching them not to touch guns

You can't open carry guns in my state. Also the gun free school zones make it so all over there are places where you can't carry guns outside locked containers. Honestly user you have a lot of legal research to do and probably a book or two to buy before you have a chance of not being charged with a crime doing this.

Good idea I’d buy some right now

Shotguns for self defense are a meme. They go right through most walls unless it’s bird shot which isn’t very effective for home defense. 5.56 in an AR-15 is much better because it breaks up in the walls

>sells ammo
>can't protect ammo
Clown world

He's just selling ammo and a lot of people keep a 12ga for home defense.

Shotguns beat body armor though

Carry and sell 5.56NATO, 9mm, 12ga and .22lr.

Congrats, you are profitable already because you're selling the 4 most common cartridges in the world.

This is true. I’m not very scary (muscular build, average height, you can tell I’m not a criminal). I’m in the suburbs and I’m actually thinking when I have enough money to get a concealed carry (I have to transport large sums of money to be able to concealed carry. So we’re looking over 5,000 dollars being moved).
>Gun owners will talk your ear off
I’ll just apologize for not being able to stay and tell them I have to make a certain amount of sales. It sucks but people understand it’s a job. Gosh I’d love to talk with them in all due honesty. But sadly I have to make money
Thank you for the link though! I’ll see what it is and I might print it for ease of access and sales stuff

>Can’t carry guns outside of locked containers
Because the 5 year olds are going to break into my house, find my guns, load the ammo, and pull the trigger. Pointless gun laws to show they have control.
I might not be able to do the gun cleaning, but I’ll see the zoning stuff. You’re right about the school zone thing being crazy, it’s like these people can’t read the words “Shall not be infringed”

Thank ya user. It’s a new idea I’ve never seen done before. It’s also the only reason I can have for a makeup so I can have a decent profit margin
It’s crazy. I’d love to sell in the ghetto (they’re not all the best characters, but a lot of them own guns because they’re afraid. So I can help them and they can help protect themselves. It’s terrible. I feel bad for some of them desu).
Thank ya user. I wasn’t even thinking of the .22lr desu. But this sounds like a great business with those 4 calibers, literally everyone has them

What are you going to do, carry thousands of pounds of ammunition around a neighborhood? Based retard.

Almost every state (could be every one, but that's for you to find out) requires as part of licensing to sell ammo, that it take place at a specific location, with regulations on how it's stored. You will be arrested almost immediately trying to sell ammo door to door.

>Walks door to door selling ammo
>People to afraid to mug him because people would think he’s armed
>Stores thousands of rounds in his car, making him impervious to theft
More like based Chad

If you stumbble with a serial killer you re gonna get what you deserve .

>ATF enters the chat
Hello lad

That's because door to door salesmen are sociopaths who scam senile boomers

Who would buy ammo to a door to door seller?

F*Ck off glowie
Nice digits. It depends, people like connivence and for whatever reason I’m a naturally good public speaker

Everywhere is sold out of ammo right now.

Realistically, how much ammo does a person need? I don't have a lot but I've got 250 5.56 rounds, 100 .357, and 150 .40 rounds. What possible scenario would I be in where I would somehow expend all of those rounds and not be at the point where more rounds would keep me from dying anyway?

Range days so you don’t have to go back and buy more. With that more ammo means you don’t need to be as accurate

Retail space is about to be really cheap, why not try and corner the wal-mart segment of the market? They abandoned ammunition sales and gun stores have not been able to come to meet that local demand.

I like the sound but I need to get a side job ontop of what I’d be doing to get that to happen. So I’d have to contract someone out to make that happen

Door to door sales *was* a thing before catalogs and the internet took off. Consumer buying habits have change, making door-to-door sales obsolete.
What would your competitive advantage be? I buy bulk ammo on the internet if I want it cheap and ammo at the range if I want it convenient. Also, how are you going to lug around hundreds of pounds of ammo?

What state?

Speaking of which, how legit are the pages on the darknet that offer weapons and ammo. Could you offer a common good in the USA (ammo) for some crypto of your choice

Ammo doesn’t go bad, you buy a lifetime supply up front.

You’re a boomer who only buys 20 rounds at a time. That’s the advantage. It’s also an ease or purchase. People don’t want it until they are asked about it. My advantage is you have it then and there and don’t have to pay shipping
MD

>just to see how it feels in my gun

kek. knowing /k/ though, people unironically do this

He would probably need a repurposed security/bank truck

you need to be worried about me shooting you in the face for showing up at my door randomly.

>You’re a boomer who only buys 20 rounds at a time.
I can do that at the range. How is buying it from you easier than at the range if I only buy small quantities when I need it?
