Also in this same vein Idena is not PoW or PoS, which is another big attribute. It's literally UBI for neets at this point in time. Every node earns a similar payout for validation/flips/mining, with older nodes receiving a very slightly larger payout. No one can gain an advantage like PoW (electricity) or PoS (wealth), which in turn can result in sybil attacks or someone singularly deciding consensus for the network.
