I have $3,100 and 84oz of silver. Should I pick up 170oz more silver in bars, or grab 1oz AGE and 60oz ASE? I dont see any decent 1oz gold buffalos or 1/2 or 1/4 or 1/10 ounce gold eagles. Premiums would be too much anyway. Or just put in extra and get 2 AGE's?

i paid the $120 claim staking fee on 14 claims, so $1600 total. I think all together I ve put $5 thousand into this property and its really worth it. Some of my asseys on the ore have come back 200 ounces per tonne silver, 14-18 grams per tonne gold and dozens of other metals in trace amounts. Its an excellent mineral property. I want to get drilling on it asap to prove it up to sell off to a major firm but i need to ship some of the crazy high grade ore off first.

actually no surprisingly there is no placer feature on this property. there was a tiny amount of flower gold in the creeks below the showings but nothing to write home about. One of my mates is a logger and him and his crew were road building when they spotted a neat outcrop and told me about it. Of course I ve cut him in for telling me first.

yes assay is the main way you have it tested. however I could see native electrum and silver as wires in the ore its self. Strangely though there was no gold flakes or nuggets in the nearby steams.

its one of the best spots i ve ever prospected. I still have no real idea how big or how far the ore body goes, there are outcrops of very similar ore above my claims in the high country as well. I made $55 thousand dollars plus 5% smelter return on a property in the Hazelton area of BC, that was copper / gold / molybdenum though and way to massive and low grade to mine by hand. This deposits the perfect size for a small scale high value operation.
