COVID19 cases are trending downwards in the worst hit regions

US is a month behind but will get there. Was it all just a meme?

Yes

Yes

Yes

Yes

It’s a meme unless you’re one of the only people in my county to get it and die (out of 10-15 confirmed infections) and you’re 30-40 with no preexisting conditions like this guy

Fucking bullish for italy stocks, bearish for others

Literally retarded. The only reason it's trending down is because those countries went into total lockdown.

If you think this is bullish, then by all means throw everything you have at it. You will take a 50% haircut off the top!

Japan, Korea and China will rule the world at this rate. The West is dying in front of our eyes.

Since there was a retarded overreaction from the markets, i exect another retarded overreaction for the ones that can recover first

>believing those china numbers, ever

there are 8m less cellphone users, and 40k had to wait to pick up a relatives ashes

>have problem
>react and deal with problem
>problem is solved

> China
> honest reporting
Pick one and only one.

Yes, it's a meme, the lockdowns were all for nothing. This totally would've happened anyway even if these countries hadn't gone into complete quarantine mode.

>coronavirus everyone sell your stocks and but TP
>shut down the economy and print trillions of dollars from thin air
>false alarm, it was all a meme
Sounds like a meme to me

>The southern states largely just started taking shelter in place seriously
>People have been meeting up, going out the eat, going to the beach and so on for the last couple weeks
>Southern hospitals overall are so much more poorly funded and staffed
>Was it all just a meme?

user it's gonna be a bloodbath in a couple weeks. We just hit the 1k+ daily death toll for the country

We peak around 14k-17k per day.
This shit just started user.

wait for the second wave
and the third
and the fourth

So far I don’t see a problem outside of a small one in NYC.

Shut up dude

Didn't happen. Only old or sick people are affected.

What happens once they stop quarentine

yeah dude its all just a meme, buy up all the stocks and go lick some doorknobs

>China

You realize South Korea didn't lockdown, right?

US cases will slow down to some extent, how much is hard to say because US totally fucked up corona management in the beginning and let it spread uncontrollably for 1.5 months and is not having a massive backlog in tests. For now it looks like it's going to take a while and there might be a sudden new wave of infections once the other states that do not implement restrictions fast enough explode into NY levels.

Do not compare to Italy ect, they take their lockdowns seriously unlike the US.

No they just imprisoned suspected cases until they could confirm they weren't infected. Like Israel.

Coronavirus is most certainly not a meme, and is in fact a really bad thing. It is not apocalypse, though precisely because we managed to contain it and told everyone to stfu at home. If literally just double of the people who are sick now would have gotten sick, the hospital systems would be overloaded to hell and back, and then EVERY new patient from ANY disease just fukken dies

Your ""chinas"" and other countries with strong societal norms could be just told "maintain physical distance", and they're fine. Plus their hospital systems are plenty because these Big State systems always stock up on disaster stuff. That's like their thing
Here in the West? You fucks would start giving each other RIMJOBS to spite the government if they told you not to. Nobody listens, so the stay at home orders are necessary to at least somewhat contain it.
If you didn't need a doctor or medical help lately -- congrats. Turns out there are a lot that do, on the regular as well.
It will get real bad now if they won't know how to go back from these regimes to regular life, though. Whichever way you slice it, it fucking sucks now.

>believing in CCP numbers
lmao are being invaded by Yas Forums again??

There are numerous cases of kids and young adults dying from this now

Yes, with pre-existing or undiagnosed conditions that weren't mentioned in the headline of the article you read on buzzfeed

This just makes the despair even better, knowing there are people who want to be in denial this badly.

>China
lmao yeah fucking right

Was your post just a 1 sentence psy-op?

Of course it's a meme. Thank you for offering your quip to help emotionally guide us to where the INTJs are supposed to be at this point in the narrative.

Somewhere around 30% of Italians age 30-50 live with their parents. In America that number is like 7%. USA will never be hit as hard as Italy. Not the same level of exposure.

We developed beyond literal Victorian era medicine at this point, it's fair to say we'll have some kind of vaccine or at least treatment within a few months.

Yeah no shit, the shutdown is what caused the economic damage, not the virus itself. In 1919 the worst war mankind had ever witnessed just ended, obviously it's going to moon.

There was the small matter of world war one kicking off in 1918, which sparked industry and innovation across the world. But yeah, totally comparable.
