What do you call it when 60% of a nation's populace is one or two paychecks away from disaster while the top 1% continue making record profits every quarter?

A working economy.

brrrrrr

I bet they all eat avocado toast and iPhones

Are you implying that the entirey of a country exists solely to support those people that happen to have come out of the right vagina?

America is a dystopia, only multi-millionaires can even dream about retirement.

In 3rd world country any middle class worker is calmly retiring.

Americanized?

yes but iphones are very nutritious

Actually Tim Cook made that up to sell more iPhones, they are in fact very high in sodium.

don't be silly, of course a Cook knows what's nutritious

haha, mayyybeeee :)))

Boomernomics

The way it has always been

Serfdom.

meritocracy.

It’s called late stage capitalism. That’s literally what you call it.

How the fuck do people not have enough money lying around to keep themselves afloat for a month?

brrrrrr

No choice but to eat the rich. You get what you fucking deserve.

Attached: cover1.jpg (1848x1040, 118.54K)

You call it "business as usual".

Hard workers get rewarded

i call it stupidity i got enough money ready always to last me 2 years on a budget at least a year normally

What comes after that?

Justice well served. Era of mutt is coming to it´s end.

early stage communism

This. Sounds really healthy. Sounds like the workers are getting an enormous return on their time invested when legitimately 1 month of not working puts them on the street. Basically modified slavery. You're free to quit at any time, but you starve to death in a month if you do.

Yea, but that figure in the OP doesn't include people like you whose parents don't charge them rent.

it's funny because if you think about it, pretty soon people's "income" or reward for working will simply be enough to put food on the table/have a place to live. I know this was kind of already happening before the coronovirus, but now it'll really hammer it home

think about how employers could start paying people in food and toilet paper and stuff like that. Like just barely pay people enough to live off of. They're really going to have to raise minimum wage soon and implement all of Bernie's plans - is probably right, or at least ease a transition into socialism

by saying 60% they really mean 80%

Sounds like a system on the brink of collapse if one tiny little virus makes a fuss.

Btw, we should just accept the 2m deaths and say fuck it. That's where were at. Were a mountain of insects at this point at were wrecking the global economy to save fucking boomer nigger pensions. Let it burn boys. We can rebuild.

Based

Usually some commie followed by a dictatorship, followed by a collapse

i'm 40 but kinda miss that those were the days... every day playing games watching anime jerking off it was perfection.

Darwinism faggot

seeing as how poor people are breeding like rabbits, i don't think so

regardless, you aren't the demographic that is being referred to. however you made your money it was unlikely that someone else did the same and is wasting away as a slave to the system. im guessing you made money off of a crypto a few years ago

>what is livestock

i made my money the normal way
wagecucking and saving

do none of you faggots have a savings?

No. If you volunteer to work you will be rewarded by the market based on how hard your job is. Why do leftists struggle with capitalism so much?

>2020
>having savings
>not spending all your money before the dollar becomes worthless
>not selling off all your investments and crystallizing all your losses.

because we don't have a truly capitalist society because government keeps getting involved and choosing winners and losers, but they still think it's capitalism.

the ultimate redpill is that we will always be a slave to the human condition until we are able to transcend that condition via advanced technology, the true savior. otherwise humans will always fall prey to our base instincts in various ways, 7 deadly sins kind of stuff. religion as a metaphor for the mind and thoughts is pretty neat.

I literally just graduated college and got a new job as a software engineer when this short started. I got sent home my second day :(

Saying there will be a depression or even a recession again is like saying small pox or polio will ever be a major issue again. We know more about economies and how to manage them than we ever have in history. Trillions have gone into the research. Simulations have been run around the clock for decades. We have conquered the very concept of a downturn. We have slaughtered your black swan and made foie gras out of it. This is hard to accept, because it requires you to both accept that 1. there are people out there FAR more intelligent than you and 2. they have things under control. As a result, your life is not and will likely never be that interesting. You're a component of a controlled system. A recession or depression will not rescue you from the high quality life, the best quality of life currently available quite frankly that can still allow stability to be maintained, that you have been given. You might be feel trapped, but that's a good thing. It means the system is working and it also means NO recessions or depressions. We have "beaten" economics

Maybe people should stop wasting so much fucking money on stupjd shit. Friendly reminder that these same normalfags actively try to drag down and leech off those around them that try to get ahead. Why do you think we have a rule of "don't tell anyone you hold crypto"?

They could learn how to trade on the stock market but no "that's just gambling bro!", so instead they'll put their spare profit to a much more productive use: alcohol and other luxuries. If you've ever actually hanged around poor people in your life you'll know what I'm talking about, I was RAISED by these people. Fuck the 60%.

fuck off commie

If people didn't waste money the service economy woul collapse ad take the market with it. Maybe they should pay people a living wage instead of hoarding it. This is the end result of avarice at the top.

Protip: Capital picks the government, so government picking winners is still just capitalism at work.

my parents charge me for rent and I'm fine just stop being lazy

The current political system is a PRODUCT of the free market! Don't blame the government for your woes. Covid-19 is a necessary correction - anyone who disagrees is a communist.

>>They're really going to have to raise minimum wage soon
>small businesses die
>workers laid off
>inexperienced unemployed people struggle to find work
>but now the workers can afford a cool car!

It means 1% understands and can profit from markets and the others cannot. That's all.

this doesn't change the point, which is that government and markets shouldn't mix. corporations aren't people, lobbyists shouldn't exist, everyone should have an equal shot at becoming the president or any elected office with the same amount of air time, donations shouldn't even happen but if they do they should be made public. this is just common sense.

the government shouldn't bail out boeing. if boeing is that necessary then at best they could nationalize it because it is apparently essential to national security and our survival.

They will just implement a federal jobs program and give everyone make work. What corona is showing is how useless the professional managerial class is.

>The current political system is a PRODUCT of the free market!
the free market can't exist with government intervention, how is a government the natural progression of the market?

>state forces lockdown and quarantine
>"""poor people getting poorer"""
>solution is to give the state more control of our lives

Judaism?

poverty is immoral. poor people deserve to have bad things happen to them. if they were good people they would have wealth.

communism

Who else has the money? If you don't see this as the beginning of a universal income and socialism you are blind

they made the mistake of ever speaking to women

Attached: 3b0.jpg (894x894, 368.45K)

Socialism or Fascism. Either way we're probably kissing neoliberal (((democracy))) goodbye

brrrrrrr

You've never had to go in for a broken bone or an appendicitis before? You stand about 40% chance that someone out of your insurance network happened to be working at the ER and was involved in your treatment in some way. That bill is getting mailed directly to your address, not to your insurance's.

How about car bills? Even the poorest of the poor can't afford the time wasted riding around in our broken mass transit system. Car is a necessity.

That's how debt starts piling up. It's criminally easy to start living paycheck-by-paycheck after even ONE of your financial domino starts tumbling.

Idk why anybody who is making less than 150-200k a year is even planning on retiring in this shithole having to work until you're an old man just to survive without a job for the last 15 years of your life. Take advantage of the dollar and retire at 40 in a country like Uruguay, Chile, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Croatia, ect. Pretty much anywhere that is not usa, UK, Germany, Paris, Netherlands, Singapore, and Japan. This is what I'm doing making 80k a year and I'll have enough by 30-35. From there I can actually live and not wagecuck until death.

Attached: fukmr2lqvrk41.jpg (750x579, 46.98K)

it probably is but it's not a good thing

the beginning stages of it. If the federal reserve didn't exist to shit out infinite amounts of money companies would start paying their employees in goods/services because it would be cheaper than acquiring/distributing dollars.

They don't know how to save and live frugally. Americans are spoiled children and are living above their means.
