When analyzing annual returns for ETFs should I account for dividend yields and expense ratios by multiplying them by the time period? That is, if there is a given 5 year annualized return, does that include the dividend yields and expense ratios or should I multiply them by 5 as well and average out with those returns to get more accurate total returns?
