The Coronavirus barely kills anyone under the age of 65. It is often incidental, and very rate - and not a mortality rate which should be of any concern to any nation.

The big problem is the elderly getting it and overloading the healthcare systems. Not the young.

We are on multiple separate provincial lockdowns. There is no national lockdown. Canada bought wholesale into the Imperial Commission report and is trying to stretch out the process of building herd immunity so that our hospitals can catch 50% (Imperial/G20 approach) of the infected instead of 12.5% (USA approach). The 50% thing is way too optimistic and will be 20-25% at best according to the same report.

So America is sacrificing 87.5% of the infected that could otherwise be saved, while we are sacrificing only 75% of the infected that could otherwise be saved. If you're going to shit up the Americans for the trade off, at least spin the numbers more honestly.
