SomeBODY once told me The market's gonna roll me I ain't the sharpest tool in the thread I was looking kind of dumb With my stocks and ETFs in the shap of an L on my line graph
Well, the Fed starts pumpin' and they don't stop pumpin' DCA'd on the dip and I hit the ground runnin' Didn't make sense not to buy for fun The deaths are up but the crash is done
So much is down so much is cheap So what's wrong with taking the bull bait You're never paid if you don't trade You never climb if you don't gain
Hey now, you're a bull star, get your call on, go trade Hey now, you're a stonkstar, grow your net worth, get paid
All that rises is green Only iron hands beat the market...
On the bright side I wont have enough money in the bank to buy a gun to shoot myself with

So I've hit the decision point in my bearish outlook. If this rally is really a V shaped recovery, I should get in now. We're still 8000 dowcoins from the old top, a solid discount. Even if this is the mother if all bull traps, we're probably not going to break below 20,000 dowcoins again.
Now, it absolutely should not be a V shaped recovery, but UNLIMITED QE has basically overridden any sort of logic in the market. Do I just say fuck it, and start betting on the money printers to keep going BRRR? Knowing full well the real economy is decimated and tens of thousands will die?
I switched to a bull position this morning when unemployment came in okay, I'll probably go liquid save for a conservative short friday evening just in case though.

>he thought it wasn't priced in OH NO NO NO NO NO

Did we come to a conclusion on whether nice voluptuous women or skinny girls that look like they could really be 12 year old boys are sexier? I vote for thicc women because I'm not a closeted faggot
I understand the argument, however i'm not persuaded this is anything more than a short-term rally. Americans are in denial about how long this will go on for, just like the Brits were, just like the Italians were, just like the Chinks were - stimulus can only patch the gaping hole for so long.
Nathaniel Perry
Next thing you retards are gonna tell me the market hasn't priced in the second wave
Justin Brooks
I think I might have had it but nobody writes an article about me
so why is the stock market going up when literally nothing is being made or bought? Is the stock market just one big meme?
Andrew Clark
Thread reminder: If you are using the bubble chart as your indicator of what you think will happen, you're being foolish. Nobody can predict tomorrows actions. You can only make a vague statement about next month and a year you can throw a dart at a dartboard and reasonably be 50/50 correct.
I played the puts game. I made money for a while. But I exited my position today. Even if it does all crash tomorrow, I don't even care anymore. Trying to bet on further action after the main event is over is a fools errand. 99% of the people here came in FAR too late in the game.
If you wanna hold your puts, do so. If you wanna play the options game, do so. Me? I'm just hoovering up 20 grand in stocks with decent long term returns and dividends.
Yeah, I'm self confessed at "Acceptance"

8000 points down means nothing because we came from an overvalued bubble top. I'd say stocks right now are priced fairly.
Just accept that you missed the bottom.
Ethan Hall
I agree with everything you said but I'm in awe at the ability for literally infinite money to make days full of bad news green for literally no reason.
>"returning to normal" He's trying to tell us something

Bears are the definition of so y. They bathe in the plebbit FUD and throw a shitfit whenever their infeasible expectations don't play out, blaming everyone besides themselves.
They are gamblers trying to outsmart the house. They might win big once in a while, but in the long run they lose and lose and lose.
Jesus Christ how many time has spy bounced off ~258.50. this has to be the top for now.

>unemployment came in okay wtf are you smoking it's even worse than they predicted

Everything is priced in. Eternal flat line from here Even the war of 2024 and the Shinagawa incident of 2026 (Japan will never recover. F) Oh yeah thats right
Elijah Lopez
the deaths are rising pretty fast in the u.s. now
Josiah Reed
Did you see how the markets reacted? Most of /smg/ is just shitposting but isn't this a blatant, in-your-face example of "priced in"? And you're still in denial.
Henry Ramirez
>stocks right now are priced fairly Have you fucking seen the bizarre price movements of some stocks? KTOS is priced fairly. Dave and Buster's is not.
Sebastian Jenkins
Cute, funny, and thicc
Jeremiah Thompson
It's a good thing this is priced in or it would be disastrous
Only winning move is to long term hold companies with actual value
Jaxson Torres
you are pure retardation man. No, it has not peaked. Everyone is in agreement it will be much higher next report. The states couldn't even fully process the people trying to file for unemployment this week because they had never seen numbers this high.
Michael Fisher
Is there a name for that? When the price bounces off of a certain point of resistance not two or three times? Does that signal that the price will go up or down?
