I'm using TD Ameritrade and one thing I don't get is it's lack of sell short button. Does this essentially mean it is not possible to short a stock that you currently own?
For what? Vanguard is kind of the gold standard for long term investing. Like, really long term i.e. retirement accounts. Like dollar cost averaging over your entire career.

If this ends up being a real recession or depression then it should still turn bearish eventually. I don't know if it will take a few weeks or a few months.
If a cure is announced during the relief rally then it wouldn't surprise me if it continued into a v shaped recovery or just became an even bigger relief rally that traps all the bulls and crushes them for good.
