These super strong laws are the reason you need to give notices early as possible. The sooner the process is started the sooner you can’t get the bum evicted if it comes to that. Usually you can make a deal in court and when you break it you now had lied to a judge. Meanwhile you are making it harder for you to find someone else who will rent to you.

and if you own RE in a third world shithole it isn't even yours you live and die at the merci of the local corrupt police force/judge
that said considering it is mentioned several times here feudalism is really a step up from the current situation, it is how it happened in reality
renters couldn't earn enough real money to pay landlords in roman cities so they moved to self sufficient estates in the countryside, urban landlords got rekt cause they still had to pay landtax to the roman government
in feudalism you can get a house and land to farm and have to donate some days per year in labor to your lord, there is always work to do and you can't get laid of, our current situation is much worse than medieval feudalism
we are probably going to see a repeat of this scenario where the now worthless cities will be abandoned for a live of substinence agriculture
