The minimum wage exists so that people can live a minimum life, not to buy a Ferrari. I'm not advocating for everyone to buy a Ferrari, I'm only saying that if you work full time you deserve to be able to save for a house deposit, you deserve to have good healthcare, you deserve to build up an emergency fund, you deserve to not have to rely on food stamps. Of course I'm not saying you deserve a house by the shore or a Ferrari, that would be absurd.
