What if the fed made it illegal to sell stocks for a period every other day? e.g. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays you can only sell for 2 hours after the market opens, afterwards you can only buy. This way we'd close and start the week in the green and people would feel more confident about investing.
Reminder that we'd have nothing to worry about if companies used their money on keeping their heads above the water instead of buying stocks back and hoping the government will print them some money.
