>college is free
if its free its probably not good

>I like Maths
Enjoy having a PhD and getting minimum wage
mathematics is the obvious choice.
i have been told by my statistics professor that math is being paid REALLY GOOD.
emergency backup plan is teaching
take it from a philosophy major that is having a hard time finding a job.
Just now teaching myself programming to actually compete in this world.
Just quite being a bitch and major in software engineering. Programming is not really that hard. Stick to learning python. Learn the fundamentals, and then start learning algorithms. It's a lot harder than it looks. It's true when people say College is only worth it for STEM.
Look at it this way. In four years you prob will change your mind on what you want to do. Learning software engineering will always be a SKILL to fall back on. If you want, just network your way to another job if you really hate it.
> it's a lot harder than it looks
sorry meant to say its a lot easier than it looks
Niche sexual services pay really well. Become a tran dominatrix
any engineering, pure Math is too hard and you will get nowhere if you don't get a PhD and devote 90% of your time to it.
>go to college
>math phd
>300k start any job I want

Your skills won't get you anywhere if you don't know how to market yourself
Just learn marketing, then you can advertise skills you don't even have and get people lining up just to give you money
Learn non-pajeet tier langs, and data structures.
You will make buckets in a few years, since everyone is jumping ship for React and Python since they are tard-tier.
- C++
- Rust
I come from a physics background with no programming experience. Just tell me what books I need user.
english is a must for making money, so you better learn that first...
Mathematics have several sectors that can specialise like, for example, meteorology and statistics.
But Data Science is alive and very well, learn Python/data structures and algorithms (which won't be that hard since you have finished math).
If you want to learn C++ visit learncpp.com. Download Visual Studio and follow the lessons along with writing code in VS. Don't waste your time with books UNLESS you can't use a computer now.
Chances are you won't ever do the hard work because it's gonna take 1-2 years to become decent.
1. You will need to follow some sort of guide/program/bootcamp to learn syntax, and build basic things for 3-6 months check out 100 days of code for motivation.
2. Grind LeetCode for interview algo questions.
3. Learn Git
4. Read books
>Clean Code
>Introduction to Algorithms 3rd edition
>Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software
>Advanced Programming in the UNIX environment
>Designing Data-Intensive Applications
I hate mindlessly copy/pasting commands if you don't have a base. To each his own though.
I make 250k form scamazon WFH fulltime at 25. Never went to college either, if you really are good with math you got a chance bud.
Visit the site, you don't mindlessly copy/paste code, everything is being explained in every lesson in detail. It's not monkeycoding, take your time and understand the fundamentals.
what can I do in Rust?
>But Data Science is alive and very well
could you recommend some courses? or roadmaps?
Learn english and some grammar first
Is it really money you want? You have no interests, no hobbies, nothing related to a profession you'd enjoy? Just money?
yes
just invest and reap the rewards in the years to come, then pick a hobby you like
>macfag
become a twink in gay porn you will make good money and retire by 30 with a severely injured anus.
I dont believe it, but it's your decision I guess. Enjoy your midlife crisis.
>no interests + teenager + just learn coding bro + gimme dat money
a recipe for success
but I coding is boring and I am not interested in it and can't force myself to code
well what kinda personality are you? and what do you mean with "i like maths"?
swingtrade chainlink or btc
it's not as impossible as you think trading is quite similar to being a conspiracy theorist
>personality
I am something between introvert and extravert, I am outgoing most of the time, but I am a bit lazy and I can't get interested in anything
"I like maths" - I don't struggle with Maths at Polish high school level
right now short or long? which one man!
Finish highschool in Poland, and come to Denmark. And take your degree in math here. And you'll find a job with no problem.
Im almost in the same boat as you. Tho i've chosen the codemoney router, seems like the place to earn money for little work
You won't earn jack shit being an incompetent code monkey, and you'll have to work with pajeets and chinks.
Even if you become a skilled computer engineer, you'll still have to work with retarded pajeets and chinks. This is what they did to us. Don't "learn to code".
thank you user
>codemoney router
what does it mean?
so what should I do?
i will suggest marketing then. or if this is not available, then business administration. easy and solid foundation with potential to increase sharply. if you ever get bored, you can start automation programming and database work directly within this line of work and move on. the danger with going directly into maths, physics or whatever is that you might get overwhelmed and crash out. be smart. an easy and solid foundation always gives you the cushion to fall on.

Don't ask me. I followed my passion and absolutely hate working it now just because my coworkers are pants on head retarded subhumans and the only way out is to do boring defense work with gay ass security clearances. Personally, I'm just going to kill myself soon.
Build memory safe distributed system
>defense work
Sounds neet user, fuck your coworkers, concentrate in your work.
If you like boring, evil stuff, and the government sticking their head up your ass to accomplish nothing but subjugation of the slaves, you might like defense.
I'm an american though. I have no idea if the same visa worker problems exist wherever you are. In any case, you won't necessarily enjoy doing whatever you think is interesting--the more you are interested, the more you might hate it. I think the happiest people are actually the fags who don't care about their work at all but have hobbies they enjoy.
Im an Engineering grad looking to get into the programming field. My friend has already done this by going into Webdev and working his way to more back end stuff. Would you recommend first getting into Webdev or to start learning c++ / rust and data structures. I've already completed the freecodecamp html and css cert but I'm more interested in what you had suggested.

robotics & automation. sorry your gonna need some programming with that but not like the kind your talking about
is it worth it? I read about robotics & automation and I am interested

Pure math won't make you any money or jobs. Don't fall for >300k starting meme. Friendly advide from a NEET math major who fucked up: go into applied math or stats, learn programming and number theory if you want to make money.

i already gave you rock solid advice and you continue to get baited by memes. whatever man, good luck. can already see you in 5 years being a NEET with a bachelor degree in "user interface design" or some other trendy shit.
>which one would you recommend if I like Maths?
probably math
I can back this up
My dad got his masters in math and couldnt get a job with it until he learned C++
