If you think about it, it makes a lot of sense for drug companies to go all out to help in the fight against coronavirus. If we consider (1) that coronavirus is supposed to disproportionately kill those with pre-existing illnesses, and (2) that those with pre-existing illnesses are the ones responsible for driving profits on expensive prescription drugs, if the drug companies sit by idly and do nothing to help, then all of their best customers will die.
