NGL all we can say is that the whole trend is generally down. Which means it's a good time to build liquid by making good put options in place. All that we know at the moment is that the economy cannot function and the stock markets cannot hold their levels if there is no consumer spending. The Coronavirus does play into this significantly.
Further, something I'd been wondering for a while: Was the explosive growth of the stock market tied indirectly to the rise of over 5000 ETF funds which promised good rates of return to new investors? If so, does this mean that we just watched an ETF bubble burst?
