The Manifesto is basically a propaganda pamphlet written when Marx and Engels were in their 20s and hadn't even fully developed their ideas, the two of them even regarded it as outdated near the end of their lives

Telling people to read things with out insuring they are able to do so using the dialectical motion of the mind will be counterproductive.
Most in the west are idealist owing to their liberal education and think in distinct static things rather than interconnected movements
