How do you fuck up this bad?

I'm done with boomer hate, I love my parents. Boomers can be great.
youtube.com/watch?v=96ogo6N3stQ

yea i don't understand where and why this whole boomer thing started

Lots of Golf, Cruises, & Wine.

Gee I wonder why

MSM, to gap millenials and boomers. Cause divide & conquer meme

My parents are like this except make much less and are essentially just hoping I find success. Looking for real advice here because I am stressed about it more than I want to be.

The Jews don't want people respecting their elders and listening to them. The Jews want to be your elders and who you look to for guidance.

they selfishly ruined our planet and our future. fuck this whole generation, should have nuked themselves as they were always claiming to do if they don't get what they want. a whole age group full of chicken.

>muh divide and conquer
>the jews did this
>getting life advice from literal boomers, let alone taking it
Yeah no. Boomers are blissfully ignorant and extremely hubritic certified retards.

I bet zoomers will be the ones finally nuking the planet to ashes.

No fuck you I lost almost all respect for old people trying to get petitions signed to fix pot holes.
They'd ask why they would need to have the pot holes fixed. You'd tell them why.
They'd dismiss you like how CNN hosts dismiss anybody not on the left and say some shit like "YEAH YOU COME BACK WHEN YOU HAVE AN EDUCATION" despite most of the old hags living out a no education no employment house wife life. They feel like they get to act so much smarter than anybody who doesn't have a college degree.

No Fuck old people
Fuck you

All people are like that, not just old people.
Just watch one of those meme youtube video to have your 'faith in humanity restored'.

The type of behavior that we're describing isn't isolated to boomers but they did seem to master it.
That said, boomers didn't really start this. The foolish, mass consuming, debt acquiring mindset of most boomers (and millennials) had existed for a long time before them. It was what allowed the Great Depression to be as terrible as it was.
My grandpa always summed it up as the type of person that drives a fancy car and lives in a big house but really doesn't own a pot to pee in or a window to throw it out of.

Jews + MSM could have purposefully done this, but the boomers were the ones who took the deal offered and got the long end of the stick.
>"Hey young boomer. Would you like a life of cruises, wine, partying, as you accumulate weath at a do nothing middle-management job and get everything cheap cause because it's all at the future generation's expense?"
>Boomers: Sign me the fuck up.
Complacent unqualified Senile fuckers still hold power and can stay out of touch with everything because the younger generations just cant compete, the few who can are few because there aren't enough opportunities to go around.

No, working class Gen X wanted those fucking roads fixed. College Thots and Chads were easily persuaded. Hell even some fucking Mexicans would sign. Pretty easy to understand that if you drive paying a little extra taxes for good roads means preventing thousands of dollars out of personal pocket in vehicle repairs over the years.
Boomers have had their fun, but now that they've enjoyed it they also want to watch the world burn. They have no interest in preservation.

This. I find much of the boomer hate is just millennials blaming others for their own shitty life choices. We live in a time with more opportunity than ever before; so many job opportunities that we need to import immigrants to do the shitty jobs, 12 years of stock market boom, bitcoin, so many life choices that studies show millennials would rather pay for experiences and travel (so much for muh planet) now rather than save or pay off debt or buy a house, more people than ever before are getting degrees, etc. Yet somehow it's all boomers fault that they don't have houses and are in debt, choices that millennials made themselves. I'm tired of this spoilt, whiny bullshit constantly shitting up Yas Forums.

No, I am not a boomer, just a millennial that made sensible choices and am aiming towards retirement with a fully paid-off house at 45 while you bitter manchildren still won't accept responsibility for your own lives. Grow up.

I created the 30yo boomer meme and I was baptized Catholic.

OP didn't read the whole article
>Our oldest child, a son, had mental health and addiction issues for a decade. We spent a small fortune trying to help him by sending him to multiple rehabs, sober living housing, psychiatric counseling, living expenses when he was unable to work or go to school, paying for his college education, etc. He took his own life several years ago, which left us utterly devastated. We have tried our best to move forward, but money for our retirement is simply not there.
have some empathy you asshole

Wow you're 45 and can afford a house? Congrats my dude, way ahead of the curve there. The fact you think this is an accomplishment at your age shows what the boomers have done to this earth, the greedy fucks.

When you need more than a life time of wages to afford a house, it's not a question of life choice, boomer.

make bad investment and reap the reward

Sorry was meant to :

>import immigrants to do the shitty jobs
Young people could be making a TON of money at ANY entry level job if the cheaper labor force wasn't brought in. Boomers had that exact privilege it's how they got ahead.
>buy a house
Millenials know whats outside of their ability. I'm not spending 30 years paying for a particle board box that will disintegrate by the end, and a single upset in life could cause foreclosure
>more people than ever before are getting degrees
More people are racking up unpayable debt than ever for a useless degree that wont land them a job.
>aiming towards retirement with a fully paid-off house at 45
The boomers thank you for supporting their retirement ponzi scheme. Please Please Please keep contributing.

This unironically

What a bizarre rant

Boomers are a failed social experiment. Think about it. What have we learned from the Boomers since the 1960's? Feminism is a failure, gender equality is a failure, affirmative action is a failure, co-existing with third worlder's is a failure. Everything they believed in and tried is a failure. But at least we have hard evidence now to support it. You have to kind of feel bad for the Boomers because they were basically used as guinea pigs for a social experiement that had never been tried before in world history to see if any of this stuff would actually work, but it didn't. At least they tried though. TIme to put everything back the way it should be.

They don't care enough to even hear what you're talking about. They would rather replace their leased amg or rover every year because durr hurr fuck you

You’re either a boomer, too young to be here or a boomer boot licker whose parents spoon fed them everything.

Sounds to me like they spoiled the shit out of him and he became a drug addict because they didn't give him real love and basically threw money at him.

The logic you use to prove your argument actually disproves it. You are a special kind of retard.

That's good,
given their track record, they might do an extremely bad job at it

How much fucking debt do they have to not be able to pay it off on that salary?

They should have raised him better when he was a child.

/thread

Truth.
Don't forget about fucking Keynesian Economics.

If anything fucked up this situation royally, it's that.

People like you are the worst. “Wahhh he got spoiled by money that’s not real love”
Like shut the fuck up you rat. You’re probably exactly like he was before he ate a bullet for the betterment of all.

I don't think younger generations are better than boomers, they're just less lucky.
In all honestly I don't have any boomer left in my life so I could vote for their mass extermination without any emotional second thought. But I don't believe that zoomers or gen-x are less selfish and would make a better use of earth resources. So there is no point to singling out boomers. Humanity as a whole is to blame.

If you have rich parents that give you everything and don't make you do anything with your life, it's gonna fuck you up if you don't know any better. Clearly you're a peasant fag that's never lived in that world. It really is a bubble, and you're totally insulated from the outside world.

Imagine this in a socialist country like Finland where I live.

>be a boomer
>pay about 5% of your income for your retirement
>do all the same boomer shit they do in america
>spend all your money immediately
>investing in Finland is seen as conning, only legit way to get rich is winning the lotto or other forms of gambling
>In Sweden 80% of working age people have some sort of investments, Finland that number is 20%
>retire with a 3k€/month pension

Fast forward 15 years to 2020

>more and more people retire with massive pensions
>even with "free" education people don't want to study or work, just take gibs from the government and play video games
>government retirement fund is losing money every year, 2/3 of the retirement funds gained from working people are immediately used to fund pensions
>oh and you also now pay about 24% of your income into the fund while the amount of people who don't take any benefits gets smaller and smaller

Then when someone proposes that pensions should have a cap or otherwise limit them:

You're one of the few that gets it.

Its not a matter of 'getting it' its a matter of caring. Boomers took the party life contract at the cost of everyone else. They are just as complicit. I won't show mercy to them in the Smart Contract Revolution as I sponge up their jobs and assets.

I have this friend, comes from a seemingly good middle class family, lived with them in a nice house and always got money from them etc. When I got to know him as a teenager he used to do loads of drugs, drink a lot and steal etc. He eventually went to prison, got out, kept doing the same shit over and over, got stabbed in the throat and miraculously survived and then turned his life around.

When I hanged out with him as a teenager I always wondered why why is he doing so many drugs and getting into trouble all the time, from my perspective he got everything he wanted and always had money while my mother could only provide everything necessary, pay the mortgage and so on. It wasn't until I was an adult my mother told me that when I was a child we actually used to live in the same apartment building with my friends family. The police came to their flat all the time because of their fighting and I think his parents problems caused him to feel unwanted or something which then turned into substance abuse and shit. The fact they gave him a lot of money only made things worse in the end. My mother was smart enough to ditch my alcoholic father when I was a child so I was spared all their fighting but I sometimes think how different things would have been if she would have kept the family together "for the kids"

>joos did ok boomer

yeah that's bullshit and post rationalisation by your whore of a mother
you growing up with no father at home at tremendously bad effects on your psyche that you can't even begin to understand
your friend would have turned to that lifestyle with or without good parents most likely, it's in the genes

>But I don't believe that zoomers or gen-x are less selfish
I would actually argue that because zoomers have grown up completely immersed in technology, social media, and internet, that they are actually more aware of the people around them and the environment. I think this would allow them to make much better decisions than boomers. Now don't get me wrong, not all boomers are bad. However, if younger generations weren't statistically smarter than older generations every single time around, then we wouldn't have progressed past the stone age.

If my father had to compete in the market both economically and sexually of today as opposed to the ease of the 70s he would have killed himself. Boomers had it easier than anyone in history.

but it's the first time this isnt the case any longer
iq is going down, look up the flynn effect (and it's not caused by immigration, they look at iq by race and even then it goes down in developed countries)
industrial society has made us dumber
we will revert back to simpler times where a bunch of woman orbit a chad and betas get no pussy (it's already the case)

ive thought this to myself but in reverse
how if i had been a 70's lad, i would have lots of money right now and be swimming in pussy
it's all so tiresome

>iq is going down
Yes, because it's gone down one or two points, that must mean that boomers are DEFINITELY more fit to run nations. You remember when leaded gasoline became illegal and the average world IQ rose like 15 fucking points? I honestly wouldn't even be surprised if there's another type of issue currently ongoing that is causing that drop. Whether it be mental health, climate change, or some other shit. Either way, it was caused by no one other than boomers.

Are you me? They take out loans so they can live in beach side condos and have a boat

>Doesn't know his generation has proved the flynn effect wrong
inb4 muh niggers

Occupy Wall Street was the modern Tower of Babel.

it's industrialisation and " leaded gasoline became illegal and the average world IQ rose like 15 fucking points" what the fuck are you talking about?
Basically dumb people make more kids than smart people since the industrialisation. Simple as, we get dumber.

I can't deny that not having a father probably had a very negative effect on me I am still succesful in life. I don't think my friend would have started doing more drugs and drink than everyone else unless he had been mentally damaged when he was a child. He's actually very succesful now that he got over all that shit. Genes obviously have a big role in how we turn out as adults but saying it's just the genes is bullshit

How can people be so stupid

fair enough

>aiming towards retirement with a fully paid-off house at 45
Crazy how owning a house is such a big deal now
