It's probably among the most casual of musicals but it gotta be Phantom of the Opera.

I was a huge fan of Grease in my childhood, but now I like West Side Story better. Have only seen a few musicals, though.

>there is no way to go OOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
>*loud bone breaking noise*

I love Les Mis but it is highly memeable.

Julie Andrews was a goddess with the voice of an angel.

The von Trapp dad is hot as fuck and I’d let him deflower my boicunt

>This was considered hot in 1965

Meet Me in St. Louis

Mothers of River City, heed that warning before it's too late. Watch for the telltale signs of corruption.
The minute your son leaves the house, does he rebuckle his knickerbockers BELOW the knee? Is there a nicotine stain on his index finger? A dime novel hidden in the corn crib? Is he starting to memorize jokes from Cap'n Billy's Whizzbang? Are certain words creeping into his conversation? Words like "swell" and "so's your old man"?
Well if so my friends, you've got trouble.

She's like having a crush on your friend's mom hot.

The eldest daughter Liesl von Trapp was hot as fuck. She could do so much better than that Down's looking Nazi cunt.

What are your thoughts on The Umbrellas of Cherbourg? I've had it downloaded for a while but haven't watched it yet.

It's like Mad Men but there's no intriguing character drama and everyone's on goofballs.
Top tier musicakino.

This

I really like that whole "falling into success" trope. I guess that's what the whole movie's about, but it really makes it engaging.

Has a movie adaptation ever ruined a musical for you? For example, I find the Mamma Mia movie so vastly superior compared the the original stage version that I find it unwatchable.
