I HATE CHIBNALL AND WHAT HE'S DONE TO THIS SHOW, ARARGHHHHHHHHH!!

We really didn't talk about Dalek much, did we?

It's good and we all like it, there wasn't any awful canon revisionism posted on twitter either so not much else to say.

You can't really get much discussion when everyone agrees it's peak nuwho.
Last week gave us an absolute clusterfuck of nonsense to chimp out to

>you have to have sex with Jack to save the Earth

How do you proceed?

Only Tuggo's rewatches get a consistent amount of people watching them.

I'll put it in him before he gets a chance to do it to me, slightly less gay that way

dubs confirmed not gay

Not much to say. It's good. Same thing happened during Heaven Sent rewatch.

Sure. There's probably some weird form of sex that while embarrassing, wouldn't be anything near penetration.

The Heaven Sent rewatch also had the benefit of getting a lot of behind the scenes pictures we could post on here.

Reminder that it is extremely improbable that the Doctor does not hate blacks.

nobodies perfect

Which one?

13

Oh, 100%. She sees Ryan doing basketball shit and is like "Knew it..."

All of them.

>Doctor gets companions who date black men so he can cuck them
It's all making sense now

the irony when they reveal Jo Martin's Doctor hates all black and asian people

What's the worst thing the 13th Doctor has done?

>despised mickey until he proved he's cool
>never responded to martha's advances and treated her like shit
>let donna's black fiance die without hesitation
>despised danny (and strong possibility that he convinced mickey to run him over)
>watched as his waifu gets killed because rigsy phoned them for help
>gave into depression and self-loathing and started travelling with bill because of it
i'm sensing a pattern here

Propagating the Rosa Parks lie

That time she regenerated from 12

Letting the spiders in Arachnids suffocate rather than killing them humanely.

existed

memeing about Graham's cancer

Her "moral code". She doesn't do what would ultimately be right or benefit people. Instead, her actions exist solely to maintain her appearance and illusion of being a moral crusader, to the detriment of others (her constant chastising of anyone using firearms or siding with the evil megacorporation in Kerblam).

are you talking about how it was a set up?

Pretending to be above it all, the moral hypocrisy. Consider the latest Family of Blood story we saw, about 13 letting the girl walk free, and then contrast it to Deep Breath, in which 12 does not hesitate to murder the android personally, because doing so will save innocent lives.

13 pretends to be a moralfag, and it ironically enough probably gets more people killed than any past Doctor.

Yeah. The fact that they treat it almost like a biblical event is actually more insulting than if they had just ignored it.

The thing is, it's not like that's a terrible thing. 10 was similar, the difference is that 10 got called out on it again and again on his hypocrisy and ego.

There are HUGE undertones of a relationship between 13 and Yaz in The Maze of Doom. At one point they are about to make out. Unsure on how I feel about that. Although it features an old enemy so is really worth picking up for that alone.

I know what you mean. I don't mean to imply that a Doctor needs to be perfect, but there needs to be an awareness of their faults.

With 10 pretending to be 'the man who never would', we see the culmination of this in Journey's End, when Davros calls him out on his hypocrisy and shows that while he never carries a gun, he is prepared to kill and destroy in every possible way.

With 13, I don't get the sense that the show will ever directly reference how flawed she is.

>Although it features an old enemy so is really worth picking up for that alone.
Brand loyalty was a mistake

If every moment like this meant that the Doctor was fucking his companions, this would mean the Doctor fucked the majority of them.

What enemy?

by David (((Solomons)))

I'm agreeing with you. The problem with 13 is that she hasn't gotten a Davros moment. Or even a Midnight moment where her ego is the reason why things were made harder than they needed to be.

He did. The Doctor fucks.

What the fuck is this Scholastic ass looking- Jesus Christ

>aimed at 10 year olds
>only bought by about seven austistic fans on twitter in their 20s

Moffat showrunning made me tired as fuck of this show, now that he fucked off is it good again? if so, where to pick it up from?

Doctor Who is a family show, it's natural that some books are aimed towards children.

This is one of the things I liked about the 'edgier' past Doctors, they had no qualms getting their hands dirty and being murderers as long as it meant removing people that would take innocent lives later. It's a bit bleak for a family show but makes a lot of sense for a person like the Doctor. It is very jarring to see 12, who felt like the culmination of his entire first regeneration cycle, embracing this attitude because he knew the loss of human life was too great a cost to bear for him to gamble on whether a monster will change its ways, but then 13 doing a full 180 spin on it. What was Chibnall's thought process here, really?

why didnt we get Blair Mowat scoring Dr Who?!

oh yeah cos they wanted a diversity hire, no more no less

So that means they should have boring, cheap, shitty looking covers? I don't care who it's aimed at; that's not an excuse to not try.
