ITT movies only you liked
but user, I really liked Blue Ruin
my favourite scene is where he goes all Anton Chigurhh for his wounds and then it cuts to him in hospital lmao
i loved blue ruin. i liked that it was a revenge movie where the avenger doesn't have some sort of gay special forces background that makes him some pro killer. it was just some dude
I loved it. The Mid Atlantic is the comfiest part of the country with the perfect mix of northern and southern culture and urban and rural communities, cold winter and hot summer. It's a melancholic beautiful place and cinematography rarely captures it as well as Blue Ruin's did.
OP's premise is looking pretty shattered to me anons
I liked it so much I saved a webm of it.
Strangest thing about Blue Ruin is I know I watched it about 5 years ago and really enjoyed it. Yet I cannot remember a single fucking thing about it. Literally nothing other than the name and a vague memory of what the main dude looked like.
On this board anyway.
I liked it too, my favorite aspect was that the guy he gets revenge on is part of some crazy Hatfield/McCoys ass family that are all ready to kill him too for whatever reason.
Good movie. Green room was better.
almost everyone liked BR what are you on about?
>make Blue Ruin
>follow it up with Green Room
fucking based, what's next?
>Hold the Dark
what the fuck happened
I watched 4 of this guy's movies and I liked them all. Green Room was very nice and I don't feel at home in this World Anymore was not so nice but it was entertaining, too bad the ending is shit.
I was shocked by how bad it was.
Not sure if Yas Forums considers this a bad movie but I've never seen it posted here so tell me what you fags thought of it.
H-how bad we talkin user?
this rennaisance of morally grey, gore heavy thrillers that came out in the recent years is based af, wind river is the best and hold the dark is only mediocre
>wind river
based, I love the scene where he's in his snow camo and snipes them
Of that user, it was well shot and had some beautiful cinematography, but, the story was nothing and went nowhere, the acting was poor at best but it’s biggest crime was being boring as shit.
I watched it right before watching Green Room. I still don't understand why Green Room has higher praise. Is it because of the actors? Is it because of Patrick Stewart? It was good, but Blue Ruin was better in my opinion.
Why yes i still enjoy this one to this day also Signs
better plot to begin with, less boring too
muerte vere
>has been praised on Yas Forums since it came out
>Rotten Tomatoes, a review aggregator, reports that 96% of 135 surveyed critics gave the film a positive review; the average rating is 8 out of 10. The critical consensus states "Smart, stripped-down, and thrillingly grim, Blue Ruin proves that a well-told revenge story can still leave its audience on the edge of their seat." The film also has a score of 77 out of 100 on Metacritic based on 33 critics, indicating "generally favorable reviews".
>Blue Ruin was listed on many critics' top ten lists for 2013
>Budget $420,000
>Box office $993,313
In every conceivably way, on Yas Forums and elsewhere, personally and economically Blue Ruin was a celebrated movie, but no you're the only person who liked it
I fucking hate "trope deconstruction" movies like this one. Deconstruct my dick in your ass
Wow, you're sooooooo coooooool.
Hey thanks man
I'm never going to watch this movie. They torture animals in this motherfucker!
I like this film, I just struggle to get past the fact the main guy in it looks like that Boyle dude in Brooklyn 99.
There was a part about his sisters house and a guy with a crossbow, or the part where he cut his hand puncturing a tire.
Dont remember the name but the drugs movie where the two girls fuck a dildo ass to ass
God I hated that one
