>Potential directors include Jon Favreau ("The Jungle Book", "The Lion King"), Joe & Anthony Russo ("Avengers: Infinity War", "Avengers: Endgame") and Gore Verbinski ("Pirates of the Caribbean" trilogy).
>It will be a musical with both classic songs from the original animated movie and new songs written especially for the live-action adaptation.

I saw the live action Jungle Book and while the visuals were great, everything else felt flat. It wasn't sure whether it wanted to be it's own movie or a remake of the animated film. The musical number callbacks felt jarring and out of place.
David Cruz
They should give this to Verbinski for ultimate kino

Doesn't James Woods have a contract legally obligating them to use him for Hades in every version of the character?

Is it going to have niggers in every role? Because you know, ancient Greece was full of niggers right? Just like medieval Europe...niggers everywhere.
Cameron Scott
I haven't liked any of the remakes so far, especially hating Lion King. This has potential to be fun, but I feel it'll be another Aladdin.
Henry Rivera
I dont think the fun gospel singing Muses will work well with actors. It soo wacky and fun as an animated thing.

>we all hated Eisner for raping the animated canon with direct-to-video sequels >Iger raped the animated canon with live action "remakes"
