>MORPHEUS (Male, 25-34, Open Ethnicity): The Lord of Dreams. Tall and slender, with pale white skin, black hair and two stars in place of his eyes. While careful to fulfill his duties crafting dreams and nightmares, Morpheus is slow to understand the subtleties of humor and even slower to forgive, with a tendency to become self-obsessed.
>CORINTHIAN (Male, 30-34, Caucasian): A seductive yet cold-blooded serial killer with small, ravenous mouths for eyes, which are often concealed by sunglasses.
>RODERICK BURGESS (Male, 40-55, Caucasian): A wealthy businessman obsessed with the occult who, in the early 20th century, attempted to capture Death in a bid to become immortal, only to capture Morpheus instead.
>ALEX BURGESS (Male, 20-27, Caucasian): Roderick's son, a bookish and conflicted young man exploring his sexuality and trapped his family’s legacy to hold Morpheus prisoner.
>ETHEL DEGAN (Female, 25-34, Open Ethnicity): Roderick's mistress, a crafty and seductive force of chaos who steals three powerful items obtained from Morpheus' office, each with the power to wreak havoc upon the world.
I think that's more in the sense that he's the embodiment of dreaming, so he can portray himself how ever he wants or in accordance with the dreamer. He was a Japanese guy in dream hunter, a black dude(and one of his old lovers is black) in that one about the green heart, he was even a cat.
Lincoln Hughes
I think the best chance is pale jewish guy, kinda like a Bob Dylanish.
you get a lightskin mix, hold on ill get a pic
Ryder Brown
Wait. Are they going to do an entire fucking season off of the first fucking issue? I mean, it was a good issue, but it boiled down to >WE RESEARCHED SHIT >WE SUMMONED DEATH AND TRAPPED IT >OH SHIT, IT AINT DEATH ITS DREAM >HE WONT GIVE UP HIS SISTER AND IS AFKING >OLD MAN DIES WAITING FOR DREAM TO NOT AFK >OLD MANS SON FUCKS UP >DREAM ESCAPES >THE END
A good first episode maybe, but from this casting call it feels like their gonna drag that shit out
Mason Peterson
If you're lightskinned enough to be called pale, majority of blacks won't consider you black at all.
Jace Garcia
Nah you get some high school musical motherfucker like this and do makeup or CGI to lighten him up.
Majority of black people don't consider that person black. At most they're considered a half breed and even the most militantly woke and pro black will see a person like that as too white to be considered black.
Jonathan Gonzalez
Oh boy, here we go.
Blake Miller
This isn’t his real form dummy
Anthony Reyes
Yeah, they'd need the entire first novel to make a full fledged season out of it.
Camden Campbell
He has no real form dummy. He's an abstract idea, not a person. Did you even read the books?
Andrew Clark
>books Did you?
Luke Miller
>character is literally white skinned >open ethnicity
He is portrayed as African when he goes to Africa. There are opportunities for him playing multiple ethnictities.
Why does Hollywood love this tokenism? If they cared about blacks getting roles, they would produce more movies and shows with black characters. Taking a white character and making them black is superficial, it's borderline tokenism.
Grayson Butler
Its a neil gaiman adaptation. It was doomed from the start.
