Jack finds out he has a son, take him to one of his wacky adventures where they find a mysterious island and inside they find a crystal skull that belonged to an ancient unknown civilisation
Then the next movie, the gang is shored on a mysterious island but this time its full with dinosaurs
The next movie aftercthat is that the dinosaurs make it back to mainland and the pirato squad have to team up with the british empire to fight off the dinosaur menace
The movie after that, the gang sees a huge moon like ball floating in the sky, but that ain't no moon... they have to recover an artifact of ye old and discover with it that ships are able to fly, so they launch themselves into space to deal with the menace
Later on, while they were in space, a dark lord has summoned an army and corrupted a portion of the british navy alongside the entire portuguese navy being corrupted with some kind of jewelry. The gang returns to earth to defend the realm against this evil power, in which they have to set sail to the maelstrom guarded by the evil dark lord and cast his trinkets into it to defeat him once and for all. Will they be able to unite the west; the dutch trading company and the british east india company and recover the lost son of Britain, captain wacky jacko, son of wacko as he deals with his troublesome past?

I dont get why people hate teh 3rd film, honestly it has that epic feel about it, where you really can feel that this is an earned climax, the opening scene was kino too with the kids singing

I agree.3rd was a great way of ending the series,but I guess hollywood just wouldnt let a great trilogy rest in peace

Atlantis or El Dorado. If they wanted to, they could go into greek mythology and introduce Sirens and Poseidon/Neptune.

If they wanted to take a more realistic approach however, they could tie it into the American Revolution and how they effected it by being one of the last pirate crews in that time.
