Give me a horror that is actually scary
Give me a horror that is actually scary
jacobs ladder isn't really scary but its very good. And it didnt inspire the silent hill games in a major way
Lake Mungo
>scary
Probably not going to happen because you aren't 12 but the remake of the evil dead is a good horror movie and eraserhead is good creating a sense of dread.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
Seen them
Deleted scenes should have been added back in.
CONSOOOOOOM soiburn so hecka superior
Yes it did, retard. It was one of Akihiro Imamura's favorite movies. It took a shitload of inspiration from all kinds of media, and Ladder was absolutely a big one.
Rec
More scary than what I was expecting, maybe there's something about subtitled films that become more intense/scary because you cant look away from the screen or get distracted.
>CONSOOOOOOM
Seeing as I have nothing better to do, yes I will. Have fun wagie.
Yesterday it happened to me. I watched Antichrist and it was an incredibly dark, raw and despairing film. It was filmed in a way that I'd never experienced before.
Without giving away the entire plot, the movie is about a couple who retreats to a small house they have in the woods, in an attempt to escape the difficult time they're going through. The husband, who is a therapist, also wants to help his wife who is suffering from depression due to a recent trauma.
I couldn't watch it all in one sitting. I watched the second half the next day.
The intensity of the film, the eerie symbolism, the crazy love the husband has for his very mentally unstable wife, the haunting cinematography... it was too much.
I experience depressive feelings now and again, and after watching an hour of this film, I was 'triggered' into feeling extremely depressed myself. I cried for about half an hour and kept thinking about my own desire for passionate intimacy. I had suicidal thoughts and felt deep, emotional pain in my heart as I started hyperventilating.
Aterrados.2017
FUCK YOU
heh heh, errrrr...Sneed?
People were posting about The Lodge yesterday and that shit isn't even horror. It was an OK film but nothing scary about it at all.
Can you give me a horror?
Is that like a zombie movie?
Sounds good
What's it about?
As above so below on Netflix is pretty Kino.
>What's it about?
When strange events occur in a neighborhood in Buenos Aires, a doctor specializing in the paranormal, her colleague, and an ex police officer decide to investigate further.
Its in spanish with subs unfortunately. Pretty spoopy though, with the closet scene.
Don't listen to anyone about lake mungo, its boring trash for 2 hours with one slightly spoopy scene.
Still/Born, available on Shudder
US should be takin out of that "white people be crazy shit" Movie has nothing to do with white people
1917 is the best horror movie this decade
The Shining is still unsettling to me at some parts
it is worth repeating that lake mungo is fucking awful, and aterrados is great
but really do not waste your time with lake mungo
it has black people so it's automatically anti-white
The Strangers, since it could actually happen unlike many horror movies.
No
THis movie had literally nothing redeeming about it except for 2 minutes.
CHAOS REIGNS!!!
