Everyone is going to be black and you can't get mad because it's a fantasy world :)

>absolutely faithful
>also please ignore The Watch

Black, trans, overweight, handicapped, and retarded

Based
>Wilkins denied the new deal was in response to Narrativia’s dissatisfaction with The Watch. “Though Narrativia retain an executive producer credit in The Watch, they have no creative involvement in the project. However, they of course wish The Watch all the best.”

I'm obviously never going to watch that pozzed garbage The Watch, but I'm not acquainted with Terry Prachett's books. How far did it divert from the original story besides the propaganda?

I hope we get more Deathkino

Well, I probably won't watch them. The books were enough for me.
I suppose it'll get a new generation interested in them, they're probably going to be a little perplexed when they find out all of the wizards aren't transgender in the books though.

Pratchetss stuff was always fairly cosmopolitan Blairite propaganda

It's not out yet but-
>Anna Chancellor as Vetinari "With the combining characteristics of Dracula and Elvis – Lord Vetinari has sprung to life in the most alarmingly joyful way.”

>C.M.O.T. Dibbler traded in his sausage cart for a wheelchair and is now a woman in charge of the criminal underground of Ankh-Morpork

>Cheery the dwarf lost the beard and desire to appear feminine, played by non-binary Jo Eaton-Kent

>Lady Sybil is a vigilante

>Also, electric lamps/fans

Based.

The production deal isn't with the BBC.

I just want hardcore graphic sex scenes with his grand daughter.

Get in line.

I love how all of that is completely inccorect.

Although good casting for nobby, dunno why it’s blonde though

Nobby and Colon already are all those things user, imagine if they were black too

Choo choo

reminder that Tolkien is about a bunch of dope hobbits migrating to foreign lands and cooperating with other races to defeat an elderly white man.

Same, but only with me.

Pratchett was liberal but a far different breed than the kind today.

the UK has been ignoring race on the stage for decades at this point. Pratchett would probably be doing J K Rowling-style retcons to add gay and trans characters.

You mean the setting where a tribe without a home but great lust for gold goes to a foreign country to kill the native inhabitants, so they can settle there?

This is it. I’m finally going truly insane. I hope you’re happy, BBC America, you have created an eldritch abomination beyond my wildest fever-dreams

They took Nobby and Colon out of the show completely

What the actual fuck is this

The ones now are just a logical conclusion of those who came before

I know, which cuts the knees out from any watch adaptation and that creature they got for angua can easily be a memed to be a nobby

God, please, dont give me hope... I know they will fuck it up as they fucked any recent fantasy adaptation, but I want good Discworld tv show.

It's good news, but I still won't get my hopes up.

>inb4 CIS Watch turns out to be an okay show after all

I don't think he would agree with the sheer vitriol and hateful rhetoric from the modern left nor the thuggery / cancel culture. Don't forget Vimes was a racist and was portrayed as being an objective hero and good force in the Disc.
