>yfw you were killed off before the shit seasons started
Yfw you were killed off before the shit seasons started
Based Joffrey, was spared the show's terrible later seasons. Him and Tywinn left at the highest point.
He's returning to acting now.
Hope he does genuinely become a good actor, rather than just being someone who was perfectly cast for GoT.
> Was the best villain in the show.
> Was killed off at the shows peak.
> Retired from acting and stepped away from the limelight.
> Will always be remembered as the cunt everyone loves to hate.
How can one man be this based?
I miss S1-S4 GoT so much. I want to go back in time, bros.
He would have been a good king given enough time.
unlikely
kek no he wouldn't. he was a fucking psychopath with little to no understanding about politics.
>like doing autistic tv series rankings
>loved GoT S1-4
>S5-8 was dogshit outside of a couple episodes in S5 and 7
It's not fucking fair
Based Taig wanting to go to Uni and fuck off acting, seems like a lovely lad IRL.
so like trump then
He was already on the verge of a full peasant revolt. He would only need to lash out and kill/shame a big house and there would be another rebellion. He was even too much of a psychopath to be manipulated by people who could run the kingdom.
what was his tax policy?
try being a longtime bookfag who saw multiple theories that are better than what D&D&GRRM came up with (and yes those are his ideas). the show has literally destroyed my interest in the books.
exactly
There wasn't a single good episode in 7.
HEY UNCLE...!
Feast for Crows and Dance with Dragons destroyed my interest in the books, I unironically rate the show higher despite its shitty ending.
a lot of the best theories are based on foreshadowing in AFFC/ADWD. they are far more engaging for those with experience of reading literary fiction (which is more grounded in character development and worldbuilding).
My bad was misremebering. Thought the episode with the church being blown up and Tommen killing himself happened in S7
Why did you post a picture of someone who isn't Mark Addy, Sean Bean, Harry Lloyd, Jason Momoa, or Miltos Yerolemou?
10% on everything.
He’s one of the reasons the show fell off. Narratively, you’ve got the first chunk concerned with Westerosi politics/civil war. You effectively end said war. Your only option if you want to keep the narrative humming along would be to introduce Dany and/or the white walkers right then. The reason the show and books fell off is three or four more years of who-gives-a-shit wheel-spinning. Not to mention scrambling to replace the energy Joffrey brought, so you get sillier villains like Ramsay. It’s bullshit. Narratives don’t work when they’re put on pause
my god he was indeed based
but sire, the flat tax does not account for those at the very low end of the income bracket who need to cope with a minimum cost to exist like rent, basic food, and utilities
that was horribly executed in the show too, though.
>lol there's loads of high explosive under the city now
the things about doing a story based on the gunpowder plot is you need to tell it from the POV of the conspirators from the start or what's the point. it's going to be stupid if GRRM does it too.
14 year olds fanfic bloggers write better stuff than plenty of AFFC/ADWD portions. Newly introduced characters are often borderline anime, and Tyrion's ADWD chapters are worldbuilding exercise for college juniors. There's ONE worthy chapter in the entirety of those two senile abominations, the Theon's one in Winterfell - and even then you have to ignore shape-shifting Mance and his ninja waifus.
Tywin would have been able to control him, he send to bed when Joffrey was having a bitch fit
ADWD I gave up halfway through
I was speeding through all of them until that one and I just found it such a slog to get through
Dont know what it is about it
Yeah but for how long. Joffrey was so stupid that he would've plotted to murder Tywin eventually.
He was that fucking stupid.
It's a bloated, badly written mess with no semblance of plot structure or cohesive character developments. Old fatman had no idea where to take the story and his editor was afraid to step in.
sire, it's not clear the extent to which we have moved to a money economy, as the writer appears to want to set the story both before, during and after the renaissance.
Good, this is karma for you bookniggers spoiling The Red Wedding and Tywin's death.
>Old fatman had no idea where to take the story
actually, no. the trouble is that he was trying to write towards the fucking stupid ending in the show the whole time.
bit difficult to make the middle of a story work when the big payoff is that the main villain isn't a threat and who gets to be King doesn't matter.
You're right. "Had no idea how to progress towards the ending" would be better wording.
??? you only tax the feudal lords? then the feudal lords tax their subjects as they see fit?
the show was better when good characters died
