Realisticly neither. People generally don't end up with their first loves, and Buffy never really loved Spike as I recall, despite the convoluted writing to keep him in the show.
But out of the two, Angel and buffy is definitely a better romance. I think it's also the one Sarah prefers

Never watched firefly. Fillion was the priest in the last season of Buffy.

eh, theres a lot of polishing done over the years to it but its good, the world is fun and consistent and the characters are fun. it's a good watch but it has some whedon jank in the interactions but its not so insurmountable as to be jarring

Firefly is overrated as hell. Joss goes full tryhard with the dialogue. Its okay but nothing special, definitely reddit bait
