Come on man.
Korra fucking sucks don’t watch it. It downright feels like whoever made it hated ATLA and made Korra to ruin its legacy.
>Is korra worth rewatching?
Parts of it
>rewatch book 1
>rewatch the wan episodes of book 2
>rewatch book 3
>youtube the fights from book 4
If at any point you get mad, stop watching
I got nothing to watch
>Is korra worth rewatching?
Not really
>I got nothing to watch
Watch Fraiser
>Is korra worth rewatching?
If you want to bore yourself.
I've never watched this because I felt it was very similar to Naruto. Should I watch it tho?
I get mad pretty early on in your chart, but I watched way too long into it though.
Yes.
Korra isn't worth fucking watching let alone rewatching. Also this belongs on fucking Yas Forumsmblr.
The only things it has in common with Naruto are
>asian people
>magic
>protagonist wears bright orange
>Also, toph invents metal bending and no one gives a shit lmao what
Yeah it was meant to be insanely hard and not that fluid, Korra really fucked up making it so widespread
Naruto is better
yes watch korra, don't listen to these faggots. It's not slightly as bad as they imply it is
>THE ONLY THING IT HAS IN COMMON WITH NARUTO IS THE FACT IT'S EXACTLY LIKE NARUTO
Ok?
not the cartoon, pacing is really shit thanks to needless flashbacks to things that happened like ten minutes before. Don't watch if you can't fast forward.
he's also a orphan I guess whos taught by a sage
I like Naruto but come on, it's like 50% filler. ATLA has comparatively minimal filler
>whos taught by a sage
not really, there's only those episodes where he meets the weird monk
otherwise he's being taught by other kids
go away
Other than Toph optimizing the technique over time there's a high likelihood that metalbenders uses some sort of unpure alloy which makes it easier to bend. You never really see them metalbend anything other than their own sort of metal.
>Wan episodes
those are garbage
Are you legitimately retarded? Naruto’s a japanese school-based ninja circus of faggotry. TLA is a chinese-based character driven fantasy/adventure story they’re not even remotely similar
Fair although that would make it easier for their opponents to bend it back at them
I just found the metal bending cops really ugly, the whole idea that they had those grappling hook things. For me one of the best things about Avatar were the almost spiritual fight styles, especially pertaining to certain cultures, while the metal cops were just chucking out their dumb lines.
Also clearly in Avatar it's meant to be incredibly niche to be able to metal bend, even when Toph does it later in the series and turns into that metal golem it's not as refined as in Korra. Sure it's believable that those earthbenders spent many years learning it but overall it was just a bad concept
I liked them
Avatar is more generally Asian influenced than Chinese, only the Earth nation was meant to be like China
Republic City was a mistake. Aangs huge statue was a GIGANTIC mistake.
Man, what were they thinking with that setting?
This, I forgot about the statue, what a fucking travesty
They completely lost sight of what made avatar good, the underlying spiritual element. Instead, in season 1 bending is completely devoid of spiritualism and just a superpower for fighting
It's retarded too because there were plenty of non-bending competent fighters in Avatar
OP don't listen to Its bait. He's recommending the worst parts of a terrible show. If you managed to never watch Korra count yourself lucky.
>I liked them
Brilliant! Forget that they completely trivialize the mythology of the world and diminish the mysterious awe inspiring nature of the avatar spirit into a douchey Aladdin rip off that stumbled into creating the world of benders due to a series of wacky events. You liked it! That's great!
Yeah actually I felt the same way, I hate when a fantasy show feel the need to explain what should be unexplainable, especially when it's a different set of writers clearly making up bullshit. But I don't think it was done too bad, especially in the context of the mess that was Korra, and the general art style and spiritual realm was good
What was the argument about trivialising the mythology again? I seem to remember people thinking it was inconsistent with something
Don't see how any street-rat-comes-powerful trope is an Aladdin rip off, that story is common as fuck
