summary its a documentary that is repetitive, has amateurish editing and lacks focus. It's a Korine-esque film with great style, cinematography, soundtrack and a great concept. Biggest problem is there's not enough kantbot but the director lets the movie speak for itself. Maybe a good double feature with feels good man (the pepe movie) 7.5 - 9.0 rating
I liked it for what it was. It establishes who the so called "lost generation of men" according to the way the movie describes it are, what it is that they feel, what life experiences they might have had, and how they deal with it. The question Alex doesn't ask, and it's a shame because the answer to that question could be a truly powerful documentary is "Why do these men feel that way?" What causes them to feel the way that they do. What lead them to this path of life so different than the norm. Perhaps the question didn't cross Alex's mind, or perhaps she herself didn't want to explore it. But the nice thing about a film like this existing is that it will hopefully provoke someone else to explore the issue in a deeper light. You need to shed light on something before you can scrutinize it thoroughly.
