The problem with it is Terry Nation must've forgot that his own creation, the Daleks, are cyborgs - mutant squids inside of a battle tank - and made the erroneous claim that they were robots, fighting other robots (the Movellans).
Plus, while Douglas Adams is kino, the whole of Season 17 with him as script editor made it the "Tom Baker Comedy Half-Hour" where the show basically takes the piss out of itself instead of being at least somewhat serious.

I have two.
The first is the opening where the different mickeys are all gathered up. Some via time scoop, others being picked up by Time Lord Mickey's TARDIS, and the remaining few being kidnapped by Punished Mickey. It jsut helps set the tone for the episode.
My other favourite scene is the shocking twist at the end when it's revealed that Auton Mickey is in fact Auton Rickey! I say, when I saw it for the first time I had to pause the episode and get myself a drink to calm my nerves. They just don't make TV like they used to.
