Wasnt that one of the actors in the first one? Is this considered a cameo, or is it the same character?
Didn't the post-movie comic justify his systems? IIRC after Furiosa and the others took control of the Citadel they basically kept 70% of the policies that Immortan Joe had in place.
He played the villain of the first one, given he was extremely dead by the end of that one, it's not the same character
based he did nothing wrong in GOT either
Be me; you know if you think about it Gaston is just doing his job and suffers from having a Frenchman's approach to romance.
> My gf;
Hurr Gaston bad because belle loves the beast and he doesn't care about the curse.
Me again; yeah but you like Les Miserables right? Gaston would probably understand Valjean's point of view. Also the entire town basically exists to serve the castle. Belle and Belle's grandfather owe their intelligence and giftedness to be released from the oppressive thumb of royalty.
> My gf;
user I'm breaking up with you.
Me again; if Gaston is the real beast then he needs more help than the prince does. How come he gets a redemption story but Gaston gets to eat shit and die? At least he actually fucking works for a living and isn't a useless sack of shit.
> My gf;
Get out.
He'll take any motherfucker's money if they're giving it away.
Not one man posted thus far is justified in their actions and generally in the right, with the possible exception of Davy Jones as I don't recall what exactly he was trying to accomplish and for what reason.
I also can't really think of any villain who was in the right. Villains are by definition not in the right.
Rorschach from The Watchmen, if he qualifies as a villain. Which he really doesn't.
Stannis maybe.
And Inspector Javert. He was ultimately in the wrong but had the decency to kill himself when he realized it. He was a good man.
That's still 30% garbage
Harvey Weinstein.
He was unjustified because he lost. In the wasteland it's survival of the fittest, and in the end his enemies succeeded against him.
absolutely
based
No doubt
His systems were entirely justified.
You can't just let people take what they want in a situation where you don't have an abundance.
Furiosa is just a fucking kike doing usual kike shit of destroying healthy civilizations.
All he had to do was make a large pool or container at the bottom of his water pipes. Then everyone would have been good.
For sure
I honestly believe that Joe was in the right, he had a fully functional society in the aftermath of a nuclear war and, had he secured his succession, everything would've likely been fine.
Lol i did Natzee that coming xD
His voice acting was superb
sheeeeeeit
I miss this little nigga like you wouldn't believe.
His only mistake was operating alone.
I mean, he never makes anyone give him any money. If you're dumb enough to hand him a briefcase full of cash because of some fast talking, you deserve the rainmaking.
>I miss this little nigga like you wouldn't believe.
STANNIS
He wasn't even a villain. The fucking jews Dumb and Dumber just made him out to be one to kill him off. Completely out of character.
FOOKING LEGEND
>readcomiconline.to
Comic explains the dude wasnt good at all, he established a cult of personality around himself and kept the water at bay so people worshiped him.
Later in the comic the History Man explains to the kids hes teaching that history will repeat itself, pointing to the crippled son of Joe & presumably Furiousa
>creates modernized improved system to replace failing archaic one and save his whole society
>villain
well he didn't know that other guy jumped off the friendzone cliff
>Stannis is pure iron, black and hard and strong, yes, but brittle, the way iron gets. He’ll break before he bends.
>just made him out to be one to kill him off.
Since when did GOT characters need to be villains to get killed off?
>Everything you see belongs to me, to one degree or another. The beggars and newsboys and quick thieves here in Paradise, the sailor dives and gin mills and blind tigers on the waterfront, the anglers and amusers, the she-hes and the Chinks. Everybody owes, everybody pays. Because that's how you stand up against the rising of the tide.
I just finished watching this movie a few minutes ago. Spooky.
This guy acts fucking circles around everyone.
He was kino in Turn.
How ideal to post such an unfairly vilified visionary
GAS

RING WAR NOW!
Stannis, apparently, needed to become a villain before he was killed for some reason. In the books, GRRM pretty much calls him the closest thing to a "hero" in the story.
Corruption is a good thing?
hot take: this show would've been way more interesting if james and naomi had died instead of miller and prax had stayed on the crew
People constantly give him money for absolutely nothing. That's on them.
Immortan Joe was only a villain in that he was the local power and the protagonist/s ran afoul of that.
There's no arguing about 'right' when the guy owns and runs all the violence, all the resources in the area. True, he existed in a shifting alliance with other local groups, but warlords don't get what they want from being right, they use force.
well...were the villains justified?
yes robbing drug dealers is good.
