There’s a good reason why people choose styles like this, you can plug in a lot of detail and actual smooth animations instead of a low frame back and fourth shot of two static characters, barley moving their mouths

Chris and Zach both regret how they acted and fully understand that it's completely their fault hellbenders wasn't picked up. They could have called in Zach and Chris's Autism Super Show and it would have been picked up, but they refused to change the name that had no reason to exist to begin with.

SF doesn't look that bad by adult animated comedy standards, but they look like shit and always will because "ironically ugly" has been fully accepted by the audience for years, and now the latest batch of kids have even been brought up on hideous bean mouth animation like Steven Universe.
There's no disincentive to not do something that cuts production cost into a fraction of what a good-looking show would need, so you may well never see a network greenlight a good-looking adult animated comedy ever again.

Psychicpebbles has a good (yet strange) sense of humor, but I don't think this show hit the ball on anything. He should just stick to making youtube content and working with Adult Swim to learn more because this seems a little bit forced.
