So much of lefty-style education is about trying to shock people by luring them in with rhetorical questions or something and then giving people a 'twist'. It only works on retards because smart people with experience have enough knowledge not to be shocked, and also know the power of rhetorical tricks and just don't let themselves take the bait. It's pseudo-intellectual bullshit for people whose ideas aren't solid enough to convince anyone when they are presented in a straight forward way and open to questions and criticism.

I'll put it like this: they present ideas in a 'narrative' style because you aren't expected to question the author of a story, like you are with a professor presenting a new theory.
