too kino for Capeshit
ITT: Comic book characters that will never be ruined by Hollywood
For me it’s Sandman, Locke & Key, Invincible, and Monstress
>ennis
so I'm guessing its an 8th grader's idea of edgy nihilistic?
For me, it's Foolkiller.
>produced by Seth Rogen
Invincible is getting a series on Amazon Prime and Locke and Key already has a series out on Netflix

Good taste
Shit taste
I don't get this meme. Is the implication that there aren't any redundant captions in Watchmen? That Snyder ruined this (he didn't, it's mostly one-to-one)? Or that "modern" comic books would ruin it exposition?
Netflix did him dirty.
Everything Ennis has done after Preacher just feels like it's written by a bad imitator who doesn't understand what makes the characters likeable.
It's shitting on HunterxHunter, that compared to something like Watchmen, it has a lot of silly, unnecessary narration despite being considered some great literary achievement by its fans.
How do you adapt something that stops having a plot 2/3rds of the way through?
>Everything Ennis has done after Preacher just feels like it's written by a bad imitator who doesn't understand what makes the characters likeable.
everything after Rick's Story is just 100 issues of epilogue. Cerebus never learned his lesson and went back to Jaka.
Could have just skipped to LAST DAY.
Point proven, reddit capeshitters dont seem interested.
Last Day is so fucking good that it almost makes up for Ricks Story, Going Home, and Latter Days
Cerebus' mouth never made sense.
Last Day is great. Wish we got to see more of that world.
I like Later Days but the Woody Allen Psyhologist stuff just went on and on (didn't mind the torah stuff though)
the "Going Home" stuff was alright and I liked the ending...just too long.
after rick's story Cerebus should have had another adventure instead of just meandering about.
>HunterxHunter
I was thinking Deathnote, but that makes even more sense. So glad I only ever watched the HxH anime and never kept following it.
I think Beuno Excellente is safe.
they'd fuck this series up so bad I almost don't want them to adapt it ever.
> Animal Man
> shit
I’d tell you to go fuck yourself but you’d probably like that
I actually like the autistic narration of HxH. Idk why you’d compare it to Watchmen of all things, the genres are so different
all of those are good dumb fuck
I don't see them ever doing Planetary.
Kino runs:
Alan Moore's Swamp Thing
Frank Miller's Daredevil
Grant Morrison's Batman
What am I missing?
It's not shit, but you have shit taste for thinking it's "too kino".
It was probably some autist on Yas Forums.
Not all of them.
This is peak normalfag central. You're missing a ton. At least you didn't add Claremont's Soap Opera Men...
I liked the Animal Man shorts voiced by Weird Al.
The comics you read are complete ass. Thank you for suggesting none of them.
