I still stand by my guns and say that RDR2 was Kino and better than RDR1 though. I remember being scared it would suck after the first trailers hit, but luckily it was great.

Even ME3, which seemed to start this whole trend, was a good game. It had a crappy ending, but overall like 99% of the game was amazing and honestly it had some heartfelt ending moments too, like the party in that one DLC or the lizard dude singing Amazing Grace.

That being said, everyone else is imploding. Battlefield got shit on for BFV.

I still love Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare though. I bought into the hate on it, but I played the story with my gf, and it was good and had soul.

All the scenes are literally handpicked and only show very specific stuff. You don't see the actual ending. It's nothing that could potentially ruin the experience for an actual fan of these shitty games. Showing us the actual ending or the final fight or more deaths besides the 100%-predictable one would do that.
