Short days. You are covered by shadow most of the time.
this
no starbucks
Also, expensive as fuck. Its a tourist trap town. Don't expect to live there as a random wageslave. You'll probably have to travel there from a bigger generic town every day for work.
mutts can't get in
It's cold, there's nothing to do after 7pm, and also it's full of austrians.
Pretty sure those people are the types to welcome refugees with open arms and have their better nature exploited thinking they are doing the right thing. Scandinavia as a whole seems to have this mental defect
I saw a documentary on Arte (german-french channel) about Syrian migrants being relocated in these villages.
There are villages where 70% of the inhabitants are syrians/somalis (14 migrants out of 20 people).
fuck this film
made me feel like shit for 2 weeks
didn't help that i watched it to get my mind OFF of other things
what things?
Hagazussa is set in the swiss alps
what a waste of digits. You look at a beautiful landscape like this and all you can think of is Yas Forums? Get some fucking help my dude.
this looks nice but i sure hope there's fiber internet and a barcade in there. if not, fucking dropped
yeah that "happy" ending didn't do a whole lot for me either
very sad movie
it's not even necessarily that it's sad, but something about how its shot, and especially the scenes in the oil-rig just made it feel like a complete dead end world in which no happiness exists. idk why, but that's how i felt throughout the whole film.
rockfalls and avalanches
>Hagazussa
I watched the first 10 minutes and it looked like a miserable experience of a film so I shut it off. Is it any good?
The movie's got a very claustrophobic feel to it. Most shots are in very close to the characters or inside a dreary building or both. I almost didn't post it because you hardly see any shots of the area they live in. I'm sure realistically it's a nice seaside town but yeah I agree with you. Everything seems very bleak.
it definitely falls into "misery porn" territory
its also extremely slow and barely has any dialogue
if you're into slowburn folk-horror its pretty good though
Extreme lack of diversity.
>extremely slow
>barely any dialogue
>slow burn folk-horror
I actually love movies like this. I'll check it out. I remember the trailer kinda looking like a Vvitch ripoff but if it's a half decent ripoff I'll be happy
the setting is similar to the Vvitch but it's even slower and more abstract
