You would put AVP above Requiem? Just curious why? The first 3/4 was good but man, the alien head as a shield and using the tail as a spear just entirely killed that movie for me. At least the sequel, while it has a lot of flaws is pretty consistent.

Yeah I have seen that stated before, but I am just legitimately curious as to why people hate that movie so much when the first AVP has the Alien head and spear scene... which I think is far worse then anything in the sequel. I just never understood the hate, I know a lot of people complain its way too dark and you have to adjust the brightness to see anything, and I agree with that. Maybe it was the teen characters or something, but I mean, the love interest gets murdered.

I've tried 3 times to watch AvP:reqrium and can only get 15 minutes in every time before I have to shut it off. To me it's just so stupid in its direction that it doesn't even feel like an alien ( or predator) movie to me.
